In charming Burgenland, you will learn how the mosaic of Austrian, Slovak, and Hungarian cultures was formed, and also visit the winemaker and see the largest flat lake in Austria. I'll tell you about how the "border" life of the Austrian margraviate developed, and about the modern location of Burgenland, adjacent to Slovakia, Hungary, and Slovenia. As a result, you will discover a completely different Austria - a region that has acquired amazing cultural diversity thanks to its border location.

Our tour guide Jane is a master historian. We loved the tour and learned so much about European history. Jane was very accommodating and willing to be flexible when we decided to change things up a bit. I highlight recommend this personalized tour.

We had an excellent time with our guide Jane. We wanted to get away from the city center, learn about the area we visit and enjoy some of the local wines and this trip provided us with the experience we had hoped for.
