We have set up the itinerary in a way that you can:
avoiding crowds (this places is trendy now a days that's way arriving earlier than all the other tours will make a big difference on your experience)
take advantage of every minute ( you will be probably sleeping during most of the driving so you won't realize the drive is 3.5 hours)
coming back to the city around 5 (you will have time to still do some other activities at the city when we come back, all the other tours will take you back around 10 pm will)
don't waste time on traffic)our logistics will avoid also traffic.
Small groups (we don't see you as a customer we will treat you as a family member the attention you will receive will be personalized and there will be all the time someone next to you during the tour)

Such an incredible experience! From the hot springs to the cave and the river and the food options available on site. We left CDMX around 4:30AM and got to Grutas de Tolantongo about 8AM. We were essentially the first people there and were able to enjoy the thermal pools alone. The cave and going deep into in the warm water was my family's favorite part though. It's a long drive from the city but it's definitely worth it!

This was a great trip however the drive to and from is brutal, bumpy and long, nothing to do with the company but beware and be prepared and make yourself comfortable. Definitely worth it, we had Eduardo as our guide and he was great.

Eduardo was a character, we had such a great time. He was an incredible tour guide and led us through a tucked away cave under a waterfall that was my favorite part of the entire day, hands down. You should really do this tour if you have a chance, especially if you can ask for Eduardo!

Perfect day trip from CDMX to the stunning Grutas that leaves early and returns before late evening to avoid rush hours both ways.Not only were the pools,cave and river stunning but the tour guide group did an amazing job.A special thanks to Ara and her team who were so attentive,compassionate and totally wonderful:-)I was also lucky that we had a small group that day and everyone was amazing.It was magic!

What an incredible experience!! The drive to Tolantongo was absolutely breathtaking once out of the city. The mountains are so big and beautiful....a complete sanctuary from the hustle of the city! Our guides Paola and Ricardo were so amazing and inclusive...showing us hidden treasures in the cave and taking us for roadside refreshments on the way home!! Cant wait to go back!

I never thought I would be recommending a 3.5 each way trip as the best experience I had in Mexico, but here we are! Yvonne and Mr.Viktor were incredible guides, Yvonne knew all the best spots and was prepared for everything! Even the scenery along the way was so interesting when we got into the countryside. We were so glad we chose the early morning tour, it was worth it as it was much quieter and 'cooler' as much as it can be in May! Highly recommended, we were so relaxed coming home. People at home couldn't quite comprehend the hot cave and hot river aspects.

This tour was amazing!! Paola, Aza, and Pepe (the driver) did a great job getting us to Tolentango from Mexico City. Tolentango is beautiful!! It was worth the 3.5 hr ride each way. I highly recommend. My only suggestion is to give a little more information about the history of Tolentango, maybe a little history about the area. Aza was AMAZING with taking pictures. She was very kind and helpful. Everyone was nice and helpful I just happened to interact with Aza more. I’m so glad I did the express tour (departs at 4:30am) and went on a Thursday. It wasn’t packed and I got some great shots. Go, you won’t be disappointed.
