Overall, the trip provided some lovely views of Mt. Fuji. But there were a few issues. We were offered by our very nice guide, David, a chance to visit an alternative location that had a festival with a nicer view of the mountain.

Unfortunately, we were told only upon arriving at the place that there would be an additional ¥1000 cost. I think if he had led with the added cost, the group would have kept the tour as is.

The park was also a bit underwhelming, as it was late in the season, so the bed of pink flowers were a bit sparce.

The last stop of the tour was meant to be done in an hour, but that is honestly not nearly enough time. Even if you have no interest in visiting the temple at the top, the walk up the stairs to the top can be gruelling if you are older, not in peak shape, or have any mobility issues.

The tour guide was great, but the tour felt a bit rushed and incomplete, especailly given the price.
