Bangkok's Broadway-like cabaret shows will leave you spellbound! Head to the Calypso Theater for a 1-hour extravaganza that is completely unique, featuring the best of Thailand’s transgender artists and performers on a live stage. You’ll be dazzled by the stunning costumes – from sequined gowns to burlesque corsets – as well as the talent of the beautiful dancers, singers and entertainers in these energetic performances.

Such a fun show, highly recommend checking it out & supporting Calypso- located in the Asiatique Riverfront. They even provided free water/soda.

An amazing show with dancing, costumes and a lot of fun. The lady boys are inspiring and it's an entertaining evening!

If a Bangkok show becomes just a cheap American imitation, you will be very disappointed.
The choreography was also very obvious.

First time seeing the ladyboy show. It was ok. Although I have absolutely no musical talent I like trip advisor because it has been so helpful so wanted to write this for others.
If you have to travel any distance say further than 10 mins - I would not bother with this Show. You could probably see just as good at your local high school.
To be fair you have to get into the vibe and understand this is not Moulin Rouge - ( and I am sure the performers don’t get paid as much as the MR performers either) but even with that in mind - some of the performances are not saved by glitz and glamour and really need improvement to keep your interest particularly considering people are paying to see the show.
That being said - some of the ladyboy performers are absolutely stunning and the seating is excellent

Great experience. However the pickup time was really early, and only upon arrival did I realise that the additional time was for us to walk around the area and to have dinner. Would be good to include this tidbit in the itinerary information I was indeed wondering why they needed to pick me up so early.
That said, the cabaret show was very interesting and enjoyable. Not the best I've ever seen, but then I'm comparing it to to the Moulin Rouge in Paris, so that may not be fair. But if you have nothing to do in the evening, I don't see any harm in giving this a go.

The show was spectacular and the pickup and return to the hotel and the guide were great.

The cabaret show was fun. You only get a very tiny table or none at all so i recommend eating in nearby restaurants before going inside. They offer free drink so you can have an after meal tea or coffee while enjoying the show. It is fun but they are ao eager for tips after the show for photo op

The idea is great, you get picked up and transported back to hotel, the show to the ticket includes a drink/coffee etc. Venue is ok/great too, there is some time before the show to check out open-air shopping, food trucks etc. which is quite nice, however the show itself is not worth going to..
There were some / up to 10 performances, perhaps if I am too generous 3 were barely ok, the rest was too boring, no fun at all.
I knew / sensed not to expect too much from the performances, at the same time this was such a great idea in theory and I really look forward to this evening but was really disappointed with the performances.

Lovely theatre in a great setting. Show lasted one hour, very entertaining. Good value for money. Wonderful costumes.
