Seeing the majestic acropolis was amazing but the skip the line tickets thru KeyTickets was horrible ,..they failed to send me the actual ticket with the best code in their email to me the day before the visit
Only after I contacted them thru viator did they send me the tickets during our appointment time to enter the acropolis
It was very frustrating and stressful

The views were amazing. It was really really crowded and extremely windy. We had trouble with the audio device, losing signal. The instructions said to download before going up to the acropolis so we loaded the app and went up, but we kept losing it.

Very hot in June. Many steps up to the top but worth it. Bring plenty of water. Great views of the city! Great experience!!

We booked an audio tour but when we arrived we were told there were no audio tours! I showed the lady my ticket, but she just shrugged, which was really disappointing. Glad we went as it’s a totally amazing place, but didn’t get the experience we’d hoped for as we knew none of the history we’d hoped to find out as we wandered around

Highly recommended! You get to skip the lines. Wear sunblock and comfortable shoes! There's cold water bottles at the south entrance.

The site is amazing (hence not a one star). Viator’s contribution to the package was error filled (hence not five star). Part of this package includes a sdownloadable self-guided audio tour. Viator rightly suggests to download the tour prior to arrival (which is good because signal was weak if not non-existent at the acropolis). However on the ticket, the tour they tell you to download is “Exploring Platka: The old town of Athens.” I should have realized that it wasn’t the proper download for a tour of Athens, but I figured Viator must know what it’s doing. Unfortunately because I only realized the problem when I started the audio at the acropolis (where the signal is weak) I couldn’t download the proper tour. So we were walking blind — trying to get details from passing tour guides near us. They should correct this before anyone buys.

Best to buy ticket on site lots of availability . Don’t go in the hour as precook starts then. Audio codes didn’t work ! Buy on site know what you’re getting!

The eticket was very easy to use. We arrived at 7:35 for the 8am entry and were 50-60 people deep.
The audio was okay. If you’re offline the pictures will not show and it lags at different points.
