Alex really knows Bucharest (and the rest of Romania) like the back of his hand. He explained a lot about the history and current events which helped me understand more about the sites we visited. As I post my travels on FB and YT, it helps that he never hesitate to take me tons of pictures and videos for this purpose. He is very enthusiastic about his work and obviously tried his best to present Bucharest and Romania the best way possible. If you ever visit Bucharest. I'd recommend him to you. You will not regret it.

Alex is a tremendous guide as he took us throughout Bucharest. The main highlights include his explanations of the backstory of revolution square, allowing us to experience the orchestra of the George enescu concert hall and touring Nicolae Ceausescu’s former residence. A wonderful and thorough tour of the Romanian capital!

Alex is a very professional, helpful and efficient guide. I have never come across a guide who is this good in time management. He covered a lot of ground within a short time and presented comprehensive information in such a clear way that sustained my attention and enhanced my interest in Romania. I would recommend his tour to anyone who wishes to see and learn a lot in a relaxing manner.

We had only a few days to visit this beautiful city and thought it best to start with a 1/2 day tour to get oriented. Alex was all we could have asked for: well informed, funny, flexible and passionate about his people, history and culture. I would highly recommend Alex as a guide.

We did a private tour with Mircea and he was fantastic. Very knowledgable of Romanian history and the area of Bucharest. His english is amazing which made the tour even more delightful as we never missed an explanation or description of what we were looking at. We were able to do the tour at our own pace which was great because we had a 19 month old baby with us.

We had an amazing time in Bucharest! Alex was a great guy to spend time with while seeing the a beautiful city. His knowledge of Bucharest and it's history gave all the sites we visited context and perspective we would otherwise have missed. His dinner recommendation also made for a perfect ending to our first day in Romania. I highly recommend Romania Uncovered for anyone looking for more than a simple tour of the sights!

Very knowledgeable and professional guide. We only had a day in Bucharest, but got to see all that we wanted! We also went to the north side of the city and saw some beautiful countryside.
