Visiting Cinque Terre and having an amazing 3 course lunch with wine at a local restaurant. A long full day, but well worth it to be beside the most beautiful scenery and beachside resort.

Our guide was very knowledgeable of the points visited. She was also very good at explaining our meeting points and times. Very important for a tour that involved both bus and train travel.

Tour guide was not good. We spent too much time in second stop and not enough time in first. She was not clear with stops and other people in tour were also confused. She said 3 stops + pisa, but it was 2 stops + pisa.

I’m torn on my rating for this tour because I had a wonderful day in cinque terre because it is a beautiful, charming area and the time we spent there was lovely. My rating is because I don’t feel like the experience I had matched what was posted in the description. If this had been called transportation to and from cinque terre and Pisa, I would give it 5 stars, but unfortunately there was very little guidance or history shared throughout the visit. I was expecting more guidance and it just didn’t exist. There were maybe two moments shared in the bus itself and one brief explanation about Pisa. Ultimately, it felt like a bus trip to a location with help navigating the trains. The other thing I will mention because I feel like it isn’t clear in the description is this trip requires quite a lot of walking. It is 20 minutes to the train each way, walking around the towns, a 20 minute walk each way from the sites in Pisa… so even if you didn’t walk to hike you are looking at 3-4 miles just to get to the trains and the sites. Someone on our tour ended up needing to pay for a taxi because the walking was too much. All in all, cinque terre is beautiful, Pisa felt like a big tourist trap, and I wish we had a guide who shared stories and the history of the places we visited.

Nathan and Tabitha were wonderful guides. The tour was a perfect way to experience everything in one day. You get the experience a bit of cinque terre and see the leaning tower of Pisa.

It was a great trip; beautiful scenery (but a fairly long and exhausting day in the heat). There was a LOT of walking. The amount of time available in Pisa was a bit short because we wanted to use a bathroom and the place we were told we could go by the tour guide turned out a) NOT to allow you to just pay and use, and 2) to only provide table service to order food or drink. So, it took some time to get seated, order and then be able to use the bathroom, by which time there was little time left to walk back to the meeting point. Another 15 minutes would have helped.
