Cook Island, a short boat trip from the Gold Coast, is an accessible and appealing dive site for all experience levels. A colourful and interesting mix of reef and pelagic fish call Cook Island home: pufferfish, gropers, surgeonfish, anemonefish, leatherjackets, parrotfish, trevally, bullseyes and sweetlips are some of the most common residents. Photographers will find plenty of photogenic subjects, with nudibranchs, stingrays, turtles, wobbegongs and even leopard sharks over summer.

Cook island was amazing.
Emily and Diego were super nice .
Though it was a bit disorganised at first at the shop once we got under rent was great.

To The owner, manager and staff of the Gold Coast Dive and Tour Centre,
I would like to share my appreciation to such an incredible Snorkelling with Turtles adventure at Cooks Island.
Your staff put safety first and guided my three daughters towards the important instructions when snorkelling with turtles in their nature surroundings.
My daughters Norma, Blanca and Mahela were truly amazed at how close they got to the numerous sea creatures and it’s and experience they will cherish.
They felt comfortable knowing that the staff were nearby at all times.
Your staff were approachable, polite and helpful.
The atmosphere they created was friendly and welcoming.
Kind Regards
Maria Cavasinni.
