Super smooth pick up - private car, four travelling. Our driver was very good, calm and informative. He showed up a few sights, then left us, after we negotiated a meeting time of two hours.

The trip was quite an experience to see the miles of oil palm and rubber trees which demonstrates Malaysia dominance in the production of those products. As Malacca is a UNESCO heritage city visits to the church of St Paul the temple and the square filled with historical accounts was interesting.

So disappointing and I wouldn’t waste my considerable time getting there and money. We left KL late after picking up 3 other tourists from their hotel - start 0800 finish picking up 8:45. Traffic jams out of KL.
Malacca is now like sideshow alley or a circus. Great for small children in the trishaws decorated like hello kitty or Spider-Man.
The old Main Street is full of parked cars and traffic jam so quite dangerous with narrow footpaths full of pushing tourists.
My advice…. Spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere. It has lost the charm of our last visit in 1994.

Was picked up and dropped back to hotel in 8.5hrs. Had both a driver and guide. It was not too rushed, and got a glimpse of what Melaka is like. Last stop of the day was Cheng Hoon Teng Temple with it's Ming tombs up on Chinese Hill behind the temple. We were led to believe that this was an extra stop, but it is actually on the itinerary. Perhaps the guide didn't know as she also went to a lunch stop that was closed and blamed it on the pandemic. Maybe she hasn't worked this tour for a couple of years and not up to date with how it runs! I would recommend if you are time poor, otherwise try and get down there for a night or two and do the place justice.

Wonderful tour, fulfilling a long-held wish to revisit Melaka one day!
The driver/Guide, Maran, was a ‘Mine of lnformation’ filling us in (only 4 persons on the tour, felt very private!) on the 2 hour drive from KL! He knew all there was to know about the history & the economics of the region.
The long drive in an air-conditioned mini-bus passed very quickly and from the first stop at the Catholic Church of St.Peter, to the main stop in the Square finishing in Jonker Street, l was completely encaptivated the whole time! The local lunch in a Chinese Restaurant was a good choice! I have no problem in recommending this tour!
Many thanks to Maran, our guide, for the memory to treasure!

Very good day out. Aris our driver was very helpful and knowledgeable and kindly bought us snacks and treats plus the car ride was very comfortable. We saw all the highlights in the UNESCO heritage site. There are plenty of options in the area and not all involve a lot of walking, but you should be prepared for that. It was just the type of trip we like, although we could have used an extra half hour to go to the the Stadthuys museum.

Malacca is rich in history and culture. This trip is a big full day with interesting stops. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour.
If your staying in Kuala Lumpa and have a spare day you will not regret taking this Malacca trip.

Poor guide. More a driver than a guide. No history given of locations. Also lest waiting on two occasions during tour without communication. Could be interesting tour with right guide
