Nestled within the Snæfellsjökull National Park, this peninsula captivates with its magnificent landscapes, enchanting folklore, and a prominent subglacial volcano that dominates the scenery. Stretching 90 kilometers (56 miles) between West Iceland, the peninsula is flanked by the Reykjanes Peninsula to the south and the Westfjords to the north. Alongside, a majestic mountain range unfolds, boasting both active and dormant volcanoes, culminating in the breathtaking Snæfellsjökull volcano adorned with its icy cap. Within the National Park, two captivating lava caves await exploration during the summer months.

We had an amazing day touring around Snaefellsnes Peninsula with Ásgeir. Booking was smooth and Pálmar was pleasant and responsive. The pickup was right on time as scheduled, the drive was very enjoyable with beautiful sceneries all around. During the tour, Ásgeir was always helpful, patient, and took many beautiful pictures which he sent to us right after. We also went to a bonus spot on the way back to Reykjavik. Highly recommend this day tour 👍👍.

Atlas Tours is a Father-Son company doing private tours. we were two couples visiting Iceland for the first time. I can't imagine a better way to see and learn about Iceland. We spent 2 days with Asgeir (the father), a kind and generous man, who personifies this remarkable country, and clearly knows and loves it intimately down in his bones. Clearly, the spectacular nature speaks for itself. Our days spent in Asgeir's company provided a depth of meaning and comprehension that we will take home with us and never forget. He can speak about every kilometer of this amazing Island from experience, and can relate it from a framework of having spent significant time in many other parts of the world. We were blessed to have found him.

We took an amazing day trip to the Snaefellsnes peninsula with Palmer. We saw the seals at the seal beach and stopped at many wonderful places. Our favourite was the Berserk lava field. We can’t recomend this tour enough!
