Zurich is a fabulous city. If you like walking tours and smaller groups, then this tour may not be the right fit. A lot of people on the coach bus and 1 tour guide. Our tour guide was very good, he spoke in English and Spanish, which led to some disjointed listening.

The ferry boat ride and cable car trip were supposed to have been the highlights of the tour. They were overblown. The ferry ride lasted all of five minutes; it’s only saving grace was we were able to get out of the incredibly hot and crowded bus for few minutes.
The cable car ride could have been enjoyable, but again, too many people. Packed in like sardines and too tight to move.
The tour guide was too soft spoken and didn’t go into the rich Swiss history or culture as much as he could have. But I now know where Tina Turner died. Yay for Switzerland.

Great tour with Guillermo, he was very knowledgeable about Zurich and its history. He pointed out some very interesting landmarks. Highly recommend him for a tour guide!

Our guide, Gallus(?) was very knowledgable and interesting to listen to. Unfortunately we did not get to do the old town as it was blocked off due to a pride march event (would have been nice to be told this when we booked at the office), however our guide did his best to point out/describe some of the old buildings that we could see as we skirted around it. Took us to the top of a hill to view the city layout instead, which was a great view and on the way to the ferry told us that we would stop at the Lindt factory as an additional stop as we couldn’t walk the old town. The ferry ride across lake Zurich was pleasant-this is a public transport/passenger ferry- but there was time to get out of the bus and walk around the ferry while it was crossing. A short but steep cable car ride goes up to the top of Felsenegg where there are wonderful views of lake Zurich and it surrounds.

Great way to see Zurich and surrounds in a short (4 and a half hours) time. Our guide Antje was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and made the tour so interesting. We really enjoyed this experience, though the food at the restaurant at the top of Felsenegg is expensive ( as are other restaurants in Zurich) Highly recommended

We selected this as it was a half day tour and wanted to get bearing of Zurich and an overview of the sites. The tour guide was knowledgeable and provided good insights into the city.
Viator states ‘Available in English’ I was not aware when booking this tour would consist of two languages so half of the attractions we had passed before I even understood what they were. It does say in the ‘what’s included’ that there is a ‘multilingual guide’ but not clear that half the tour would be in Spanish.
The old town ‘walking tour’ was about 200m around one block where we stopped and wasted most of the time having to have two languages repeated. If we didn’t have to do this we could have seen more of the old town. Saying that, the guide gave us recommendations and pointed us where to go after the tour.
The Ferry ride was on the bus and we had a few minutes to get off and enjoy the view, unfortunately everyone was so slow getting off and on the bus so minimised the time we had. Then the drive to the cable car. They jammed us into the cable car like sardines so you couldn’t appreciate the ride or the view.
The top was beautiful, but unfortunately we spent 15 minutes of our time in line to just try and get a drink (done even bother trying for food!) so then only had a very short time to enjoy before heading back to the cable car and back down.
Overall the guide did the best he could and was informative but i feel like there could be some improvements.

We were very disappointed with the quality of this tour. Here is why we recommend NOT wasting time or money on this tour...
- the bus station is a mess
- the tour guide was nice but extremely boring and mundane to listen to
- the bus was SO HOT
- the bus driver had a strong foot on both the brake and the gas
- everything we saw was walkable from anywhere in Zurich, so didn't really need to get on and off a bus multiple times
- there wasn't really anything interesting on the drive down the coast other than the views of the alps (that you can see from the city)
- cable car up fits 30 people but you're smashed in like sardines and it is NOT pleasant
Overall, not impressed we spent so much for such a disappointing tour.
