Where we were taken on this tour was a positive. The day itself however was very disappointing in numbers. The group was far to big to manage and very impersonal

Our tour guide Sophia was great and our bus driver was great too. The issue for me was what was sold to what we got.
Our tour never mentioned it would make an extra stop for another tour group to exit, I feel like we lost time in lake Lucerne because of it. Then it said we would get food vouchers and I booked for 4 people so those food vouchers were very much anticipated but then was told
That it was either a boat ride on lake Lucerne or food voucher but that was not stated on this tour when booked. I will still give it 5 stars as everything was still amazing

My best friend and I chose to do this excursion as a way to spend a day outside of Zürich. We had a wonderful time! It was an effortless and easy experience. Our tour guide was helpful and insightful. Even though the clouds were very thick, the experience was wonderful. They cleared out just long enough for us to see everything. It was truly the most beautiful thing we have ever seen!

The review says in my booking 20 towards lunch, if you are counting on that it’s incorrect, this booking wasn’t cheap so to count on that for 4 people can be a lot. The tour guide said if you don’t do the boat then you get that, however that is not what the booking says at all. Also they don’t tell you that you go out of the way by 30-45 min to drop another tour guide off at their spot while you sit on the bus wasting time. Not pleased about that at all. Would have preferred to have longer time in Lucerne. Also if you want to see the lion you have to book it fast to the see and hurry back. We had time to basically run to lion, grab a chocolate and walk very fast over the old bridge, not ideal at all. The rest of the tour was wonderful, Mt Pilatus was beautiful!!

The tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful. Great experiences to board via cable car and descend by steepest cogwheel train. Mount Pilatus was beautiful and the views were amazing. Different experiences compared with Snow Mountains. Enjoyed Boat Ride on Lake Lucerne to admire fascinating scenery. However, we did not have adequate time to explore Lucerne. Anyway, wonderful trip.

Going down the mountain on that cogwheel train was fantastic, but the true human touch was hearing cow bells and then seeing animals somehow grazing up there.

All the views and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. Every turn was as beautiful as the next. WOW is the best I can say about the experience.

I was only in Zurich a few days and wanted to make sure I got a glimpse of the Alps. This was the perfect day trip. The views from the top is Mt. Pilatus were amazing. The boat ride in Lake Lucerne was lovely. I was able to enjoy a nice lunch on the mountain and wine on the boat.

Even though the weather was cloudy, all the sites were beautiful and we had a wonderful time! Our first stop was in Lucerne, where we had enough time to visit the iconic tourist sites. Then, we traveled up the Alps, stopping at Mount Rigi to pick up extra people on our nice coach, so we had some time to take pictures there, too. Afterwards, we moved on to Mount Pilatus where we road the gondola partially up the mountain and had lunch overlooking a scenic view; there are many activities (e.g. zipline, toboggan, ropes course, etc.) that you can pay extra for, or you can take the cable car all the way to the exploratory center and walk all the way up the mountain on some nicely paved steps. There is also an area that had a "restricted" gate, but it was open and we saw people going up, so we did the same and found a cave! We only went down the cave where there was a handrail, because it was narrow and slippery, and we also didn't know where we would end up! After that, we met the group and took a cogwheel down the mountain, followed by a boat cruise on Lake Lucerne. The tour director Roberto was great, and I highly recommend this tour if you want to do as much as you can while visiting Switzerland!
