Any trip to Madrid should feature two things: a visit to the Prado Museum and a meal at Botín. On this tour, you'll experience both! Begin with an exploration of the highlights of the Prado’s massive collection, carefully selected so you don’t have to worry about navigating the 7,000+ pieces on your own. Then, you’re off to Botín, the oldest restaurant in the world. Head behind the scenes for an exclusive tour before enjoying a three-course meal, including their signature dish.

Rosita is amazing tour guide. She was so knowledgeable, fun, and charismatic. We learned so much about the art and history behind many of works at the Prado that we would not have known walking through it on our own. We loved the food part of the tour especially being about to walk in and around Botín before it opens. The food was delicious and we left with full and satisfied. We highly recommend this tour with Rosita!

We had a fabulous tour of the Prado Museum with Cassie. Cassie was knowledgeable of Spanish art coupled with interesting stories about the artist’s and royal families. I could have stayed there all day. We then proceeded to go Boutin the oldest restaurant in the world . I had been trying to secure a reservation on my own but couldn’t . We also learned about Boutin’s rich history. This tour was a great pairing of food and culture .

We did 2 devour tours in Madrid and this walking / food tour was by far our favorite. Arantxa was a fantastic guide, full of energy, and her enthusiasm was infectious. At the Prado, Arantxa helped us to understand and enjoy what we were looking at to the full. Afterwards we enjoyed a visit to an old bar for an aperitief and the lunch at El Botin, both places packed with atmosphere. At the restaurant, the food was good, the burnt cheesecake to die for and Arantxa’s stories really interesting. The highlight of our stay in Madrid.

What a great experience! Our guide, Casey, was warm, friendly, and passionate. She was very knowledgeable about the art we were seeing at the Prado. I loved her explanations about the history and the more gossipy tidbits about the artists. The experience of lunch at Botín was also just as packed with interesting bits of history and the food and wine were ample and delicious. We were so glad we booked the tour!

This a great experience. Museo del Prado can be overwhelming to visit when you don't know what you are looking at. Monse made the experience relevant and fun. Unless you are an art historian or have been to the museum before having a knowledgeable guide like Monse will make for a richer experience.
On our own we would not have known to go to at La Taberna de Alberto and learn about their history. This was a great spot to spend time getting to know our small group over drinks.
The experience at El Botin was nothing short of VIP. They opened the restaurant for us, while the crowd gathered outside wondered who we were! The tour was great and the food and service exceeded our expectations.
