Market Tour and Cooking Class with a Venetian Chef

Filippo has an engaging and easy going style. We liked that he checked right at the start that we were all happy with his suggested menu. We learned enough techniques and tips to make it worthy but it was in a very relaxed atmosphere.

Filippo is a very kind and knowledgeable host, who answered our questions and gave us each a turn at various tasks that the class involved. The results were very delicious!

I was in Venice for 4 days vacation by myself, and since I work as a chef at home, I decided to join this cookingclass, for a little italian inspiration. I had a very nice time at “Atelier Cuisine Venice”. Our host was very friendly and passionate about what he was telling us, and about what he was teaching us. The food prepared was so simple, but very very tasty and delicious. We all got to try the different techniques of preparing the food and by the end, we all enjoyed the food together. I highly recommend that you will choose - Atelier Cuisine Venice” if you want a great, interesting and authentic experience.

Wonderful class- we all loved the trip to the market. It was nice small group and the food was delicious.
Would recommend to any foodie coming to Venice!

Our cooking experience with Filippo was superb! We met at the Rialto Market, where Filippo taught us about the fish, produce, and the Market’s history. Filippo set the tone for a fun day of learning and experiencing. It was an easy walk to his very well-appointed cooking studio. The group of 8 was an excellent size to move around the kitchen and see and work on the preparation in a social and friendly setting. Filippo explained not only the how but the why of the preparations. He was very knowledgeable, a great teacher, and clearly enjoyed what he was doing and his interactions with his students. The meal we prepared was superb. In addition to being delicious, the recipes are ones that we think we can recreate at home. The day with Filippo was a highlight of our trip.

Amazing experience!!! Filippo was very informative and fun. You can tell he is highly trained in his culinary skills and also loves what he does. Every moment was filled with smiles, this was truly an experience we will never forget. Highly, highly, highly recommend!!

What a wonderful experience and tour. Starting with a tour of the Rialto market and choosing the ingredients for our cooking class, Philippo was wonderful and we had a fabulous time.

We always take a cooking class when traveling and this one was SUPERB. The menu was based on what was fresh at the market (the market trip was excellent too). Everyone cooked as a group with a good mix of instruction on technique and general fun. Beautiful kitchen and a nice outdoor area to drink Spritz when waiting for things to cook/prove. Perfect!

This was the absolute best cooking class I've ever taken. Filippo was very engaging, funny and sure knew what he was doing. I went to the class with my daughter and we had a wonderful time from the shopping at the market to the final dessert wine. We made some wonderful dishes (homemade pasta with tomato sauce and burrata), tiramisu, and flounder and had drinks throughout the experience. If you have the time this class is a must!

Everything was so much fun! Philippe, our chef was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and the overall experience was one we will not forget!
