The food was below average especially for the price, the fire show was only lighting up oil while cooking. Not worth the money.

The courses were very good, however, there were only 4 courses and an alcoholic beverage (I chose passion fruit sake).
1. Carpaccio
2. Langostino shrimp with shrimp eggs (something like caviar)
3. Teppanyaki meal (salmon, lamb, veggies and rice)
4. Blueberry parfait
This experience, though everything was delicious, shouldn't be titled as a 7 course meal with fire show. I thought the fire show was going to be something specific to Iceland.
However, it was the typical fire play that the cook gives at a Japanese Steakhouse or any Teppanyaki experience.

We had the place to ourselves on a holiday weekend (Sunday night). Starter was lobster, with salmon, steak, veggies, fried rice, dessert and a tasty cocktail. Our chef's skills were stellar and it was truly a show watching him cook the dinner.

Amazing experience, it was our first time and the chef was fantastic and the food was lovely.
They were short staffed so service was a little slow but it gave us time to enjoy the evening and we got an extra drink.

So glad we got to experience this restaurant, it really is both an amazing dining/culinary and entertaining experience. The staff were wonderful from the start and our chef Wilson was funny, patient and highly trained. He relaxed us with his calm demeanor, thrilled us with his entertaining cooking style and humour, and left us intent contented by the wonderful mouth watering meal. We also appreciated the high quality Icelandic ingredients which are amazingly fresh and delicious from these 7 courses tasting menu.
I HIGHLY recommend this place, you won't be disappointed.

We were celebrate my nephew's birthday. He wanted to try the 7 courses teppanyaki tasting menu from Flame restaurant in Reykjavik. It was fantastic experience. Icelandic arctic charr, famous lamb steak and langoustine were so tasty, and fire show with chef entertaining was fun and interesting that you can not get anything better that in Iceland. I was even tried the egg tricks my self on the Teppanyaki, lovely experience! Even the outside is cold and windy, but we relaxed and enjoyed every minutes. Been to many tappanyaki reasturants in the past this was by far one of the best. Would visit again and recommend to anyone visiting Iceland.
