Melbourne Street Art Tours showcase the best of Melbourne's laneways and street art. As the tours are run entirely by street artists, they offer an authentic view into this underground art scene. Learn all about the stories behind the artists and the works, finishing up at the famous Blender Studios where you are treated to a cheese platter and drinks and have the opportunity to meet the studio artists.

Not only is this a chance to explore the beautiful, exciting and ever-changing landscape of art in the streets and laneways of Melbourne but it also offers the chance to learn more about the culture surrounding it. Great host Ben Barek, who is himself a talented artist, then brought us all to a lovely gathering at Blender studios which is in itself a wonderful place to visit. Highly recommend!

Amazing insight into the culture of street art/graffiti in Melbourne. Our artist guide barek was super knowledgeable about the different lanes and how they evolved over time. We learned about the individual artists behind many different pieces, the techniques they use, and when pieces were done. The final stop at Blender Studios was the cherry on top. Drinks/snacks with a glimpse into the artist studios themselves. The walk itself is suitable for families as the area is flat and we stopped regularly to discuss the art.

As a street art fan and photographer already very familiar with Melbourne street art this tour was beyond my expectations. It was like having access to the inner sanctum as our artist guide Matt interpreted the works, backgrounded the artists, explained processes, talked street art politics and discussed the nature of art. We were treated to a prime selection of CBD street art, from tiny intricate stencil works to monumental murals. A tram ride blew away some of our international tourists. The tour finishes at home base at Blender Studios with warm hospitality and the opportunity to meet artists and see their work spaces. I can't recommend this tour highly enough.

This was a great way to really see the street art and learn about the street art culture here-and more about the artists themselves. Great idea to add the studio tour at the end-well done!

Great street art tour! Our guide was barek whose firsthand knowledge was great and brought a lot of background and insight to complement the art he was showing us. Really enjoyed how the tour ended as well, where we got to see the Blender Studios and the art and artists there as well. Highly recommend this tour if you're a fan of street art.

It is easy to have a closed mind where street art is concerned. We went with an opened mind and enjoyed a fascinating insight into 'street art' conducted by an experienced and very informative artist, himself a street artist. We thoroughly enjoyed the few hours we spent wandering Melbourne's lanes and alleys, culminating in the tour of Blender Studios and the opportunity to see close up the artists' work and to engage with them. Thoroughly recommended, just go with an open mind.
