Founded in 1872, the Tokyo National Museum is the oldest museum in Japan. The museum has stored about 120,000 art works and owns nearly 100 national treasures. We had a great time at the National Mesuem this morning. Thanks to our guide Emi who is professional and passionate about history and arts. She gave us many in depth knowledge which we would have overlooked. I would highly recommend her to anyone who enjoys visiting museum.

Our tour guide was prompt and friendly. Her English was rudimentary and, as such, did not learn much. I don't regret going, but do regret spending the amount that I did. Try to find an English audio guide, will be more informative.

Our guide, Emi, was friendly and knowledgeable. She also spoke English very well. The museum collection provides a broad lesson in the culture and history of Japan.
