Booked this tour then 1 hr later the company cancelled our booking.
We still received ticket information and email to review.
Haven’t checked if we where refunded yet but booked a free tour with kyoto localized which was fantastic.

The tour group left without us. All communication said 6pm. We arrived at 5.55pm and no sign of the group. We ran from group to group in the area but no one knew what we were talking about. No one answered the phone number provided. This cost me $189 for nothing. Very very disappointing

We had a great night doing this trip. We were very lucky, seen a few Geiko on the move going to the various tea houses you will walk by.
Our guide was very friendly and brought us through the back streets of 2 Geisha districts.
Would really recommend this trip

Our guide (we think her name was Mai meaning 3 pictures in Japanese) was very knowledgeable and had great local knowledge. Our group was small and we were able to ask a lot of questions about Gion Geiko and Maiko culture and Japanese culture in general. Would highly recommend.

Gion walking tour by night was so much fun! We had wonderful guide, Choco. She is so knowledgeable about the culture and tradition of Geisha, she made this tour super interesting for us. Choco speaks very good English. She is super nice and you can see how deeply she cares for Japanese culture. Highly recommend this tour!

This tour was absolutely fantastic! We've had the friendliest guide ever, she made the whole experience super enjoyable and memorable, going above and beyond to ensure we had a great time.
She shared tons of fascinating info about geishas, giving us deep insights into their history, culture, and daily lives. Her passion for the subject and engaging storytelling kept us hooked throughout the tour. There were quite a few people in our group and our guide made sure everyone in the group felt included and informed.
Overall, I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Kyoto.

Can be done without a guide at personal pace! Too fast, too vague. Polite and nice guide. Gion is lovely and a must do.
