1. Longshan Temple

2. Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall
The most prominent historical landmark in Taiwan, the CKS Memorial Hall was erected in honor and memory of Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek, the former President of the Republic of China, and was opened in 1980 as part of a national park and gathering area. A huge complex includes the Liberty Square, National Theatre and the Memorial Hall where you can see the show of guard exchange.
3. Dihua Street
Dihua Street has been an important centre for commerce in Taiwanese products and produce such as Chinese medicinal herbs, fabrics, incense materials, and for the post-processing of Taiwanese tea since 1850s. This street offers visitors a glimpse of mid-19th century Taipei as well as the city’s thriving artistic side.
4. Dalongdong Bao An Temple
Originally constructed in 1742 as a wooden shrine, the Bao'an Temple is a Taiwanese folk religion temple. Throughout Taiwan's history, the temple was renovated and reconstructed numerous times, leading to a 2003 induction into UNESCO for cultural heritage conservation.
5. Lin An Tai Historical House & Museum
Tour the housing and garden style of Taipei during the Qianlong Period in Qing Dynasty (1754)
6. National Revolutionary Martyrs' Shrine
Built in 1969, the complex contains the main shrine, as well as the famous guard changing ceremony. Most visitors will leave the area as soon as the guard changing is complete, but be sure to walk inside and explore the fascinating and beautiful Chinese architecture.
7. National Palace Museum
Originally founded within the walls of the Beijing Forbidden City in 1925, the present-day National Palace Museum moved to Taipei's Shilin District following the Republic of China government relocation in 1949 with an official opening for the public in 1965. Over 600,000 of the most precious artefacts within the collection were moved to Taiwan to prevent their desecration during and after the Chinese Civil War. This attraction is optional, you can either spend your time on admiring the precious artifacts or skip the museum if you're not interested.
8. Taipei 101
The landmark of Taiwan and once the tallest building in the world (2004-2010)! You can either go up the observations at 89F (expense on your own) or admire this building from the surroundings (free).
9. Elephant Mountain (aka Nangang District Hiking Trail)
This is the best choice if you want to get the best spot to admire the view of Taipei City & Taipei 101. However, a 40-minute hiking along the stairs is required (25-min going up, 15-min going down), but the view up there is definitely the best you can have in Taipei City.

This tour was amazing. I was so lucky to have Jack for a guide. He did an amazing job showing me this beautiful city. He made sure I did everything I wanted to. He made sure I was happy and well taken care of. I highly recommend this tour and don’t forget to ask for Jack!

This was such a great tour. Everything was well organized and the communication with the tour company was great. The highlight of the tour was my guide, Jimmy. He went over and beyond to make sure I had a good time. Jimmy took me to some great locations and made sure to fit in special request for me. My knee was giving me trouble and he made sure I was comfortable and dropped me off to the closest locations so I would not have to walk too far. He had such a friendly and fun personality. Also, it felt like Jimmy knew everything; he had an answer to all of my questions and provided detailed background on all the places we visited. Do yourself a favor and book this tour!

If I could give this six stars, I would. Hicks was the best tour guide ever!!! He was so kind, knowledgeable, and brought us to many amazing places. He had such an efficient and comprehensive itinerary and always pointed out the best places to take pictures. We also got to experience great food and treats. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Taipei. Thank you so much, we now have a lifetime of memories!!

We had a great time with an amazing tour guide, Mr Jack Chou. We already just told them what we want to see and it was Mr Jack just do his magic. He is so very knowlegeable about all the places we want to visit. He was so entertaining and considerate. He knew the perfect photo spot as well. We really had a great time exploring Taipei and beyond in just few hours. Highly recommended!

Our tour guide for the Taipei City guided tour was Nicolas. He contacted me three days before the tour date to verify pick up location and ask a few questions about ages and if there were specifics we would like to see.
Nicolas was great, very informative and easy to talk to. He also kept my son (7) interested in the different stops and cultural aspects. We saw more of the city than I was expecting and was not rushed from one location to another.
I would highly recommend the city tour and ask for Nicolas as your guide, you will not be disappointed!

Jack conveniently pick us up at Taipei airport, jet lagged + no hotel check in until 3:00 PM. Explored Taipei + got daylight to draw us through get lag. Beautiful tour, THANK you JACK for your good service! We really enjoyed our in promptu lunch with you.

Vincent Lee was an amazing tour guide! We did a custom tour and he not only tailored it to our needs, he made good use of the time so that we can maximum benefit out of it. His photographic skills are amazing. He took pictures of us everywhere so that we could focus on the tour and yet have an album full of memories to reflect back.

Had the most amazing tour with Paul! Very smooth pickup from and drop off to the airport, and spoke very good English. We went to multiple places including Taipei 101, Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall for the guard changing and some popular temples, and he was very knowledgable about each area. He also knew the best food spots including an early visit to the famous night market! Highly recommend.
