Informative. Entertaining. Absolutely worth the price. H/T to Leo, our tour guide who gave us a solid history lesson.

My best friend is visiting me from Michigan (I live in Jersey). We decided to take a day in the city and tour the catacombs, as we both love architecture and art. We had Jim as a guide and he was just wonderful! Great stories! Very funny but also very kind. You could tell he had a lot of reverence for the place. My friend actually started getting sick from the heat in NYC midway through the tour and Jim and Jose (who was running the gift shop) let us take a break after the tour in the area before the catacombs itself to escape the heat and have bathroom access until she was well enough to move again. We will never forget that kindness and hope to go back again one day (when she is feeling better of course!)

The tour is definitely worth the time. Lee was an excellent guide who was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. It is very interesting that all this history is New York’s backyard.

Jim was an incredible guide! I gained a lot of knowledge about the history of New York City, the significance of the North and South graveyards, and the history of the first St. Patrick's Church. The tour was both enjoyable and informative. The catacombs weren't frightening at all; in fact, they felt quite serene. Don't expect to see any bones!

I was in NYC 54 years of my life,so the narrative history of the Catacombs was emacing, so much history of the earliest NYC and the Religion involved with first population of European immigrants to the big apple. It was very impressive!

Overall this tour was a bit underwhelming. We felt as though the tour didn’t go into as much specific detail about the catacombs as we would have liked. In addition, the catacombs themselves were not what we were expecting. For the most part very recent and not large at all, there are about 3 rows within the catacombs and that is all. We had a decent experience but would not call it a highlight, especially at the price points.
