Combining Muir Woods and Alcatraz affords the client the opportunity to experience and see 3 major destination points.

* Muir Woods National Monument
* Alcatraz Island
The first leg of the tour will start with a guided bus tour over the Golden Gate Bridge. We make our way to Muir Woods National Monument. The
the route taken affords the client beautiful views of the Golden Gate Bridge, and San Francisco skyline, and the surrounding bay.
After Muir Woods, the tour will return to San Francisco and drop the clients off at Pier 33 "Alcatraz Landing". Here the clients will catch their scheduled ferry to Alcatraz Island. The Ferry ride is approximately 30 minutes in length. The unobstructed views of the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco SkyLine, the Bay Bridge as well as all the geographical phenomena unique to the "Bay" make for prime photo opportunities.

It's strange not getting your tickets direct to mobile, but operator Al was very accommodating and helped me upgrade my tour.
Alcatraz is ok but I've done better prison tours in Dublin + Nottingham

My Boyfriend and I had an amazing experience with Alcatraz Bikes & Tours! The Alcatraz tour is a must see/do once your lifetime. The customer service was excellent. We were given clear instructions on how our tour would go. We got to explore the prison and the ferry was an experience in its own. We also did the bay cruise tour; try to catch the last departure (4:30 pm) IT WAS AMAZING. Beautiful sunset!!!! Book your tickets Now! :)

I booked online for 2 people- $111 per person and was charged $320. It was completely confusing at the union square kiosk due to language barriers. I did not want the bike or bus tours just the Alcatraz ferry. It was hard to understand the guy. I will not use Alcatraz tours again. What a rip off.

So tried this as it’s been a bucket item for years.
It gets crazy busy but it’s done now so I won’t have to trawl up the hill anymore🥵 keep hydrated if it’s a hot day and make sure your there early they won’t wait.

Fantastic tour! We were asked to go on an earlier tour and what a great decision! We took the 0940 departure from pier 33. Clear and concise instructions and displays noting the history made the wait to board the ferry very reasonable! Audio guide is a must, easy to use and easy to follow it takes you right through the main prison with a totally immersive narration!
This was a bucket list location for me and it did not disappoint! A place of historical significance and one not to miss!

We had a great experience with Alcatraz tour! Initially I bought bike and Alcatraz tour package, but regretted later. We went to 571 Post St to get our tickets and Moustafa- the nicest person - was very helpful and agreed to exchange our tickets for Alcatraz+cruise tour free of charge, although this package was more expensive.
Moustafa was so nice that he even sang a song and danced for my husband’s Birthday and gave him a present- a new package of chewing gums that he bought for his kids! His boss Al was also very friendly. We had a great time and were very happy. Highly recommended!

Only had 1 day to explore San Fran , got bikes in the morning and was able to cycle the full way to Golden Gate Bridge, before stopping for lunch and getting boat out to alcatraz island. Good locks were provided with the bikes

A good tour, the audio tour through the prison cells is excellent and included in the price. A bit of a climb to the top but worth it and no problem if you are even reasonably fit. There is a 'tram' for those who are physically impaired

Enjoyed the tour ferry ride and visit inside Alcatraz. There was some steep climbs, so it was a good way to work off a delicious lunch at Louis Italian at Pier 39
