Ran by @guidemejapan on instagram. Kyoto is one of the most famous spots to visit in Japan. Therefore, during the day, it is hard to see everything peacefully. In this tour, we start early to beat the crowds! We visit Fushimi-Inari Shrine, Kinkakuji, and Arashiyama.

*This is WALKING tour that uses public transportation. This is not a bus tour. This tour requires about 12,000 walking steps.
*The tour is APPROXIMATELY 5.5 hours, meaning it can differ by around 30 minutes before or after the estimated time.
*Our guide will contact you through what's app so please download what's app prior to this tour. This is to enhance smooth meeting between the guide and the guests.
*As we have other groups in the tour, we cannot accept any late guests. If you are late, YOU CANNOT JOIN the tour and will not be given a refund.

Myself and my husband went on this early morning tour that was hosted by Akari. It was a great tour and she was a very friendly and knowledgable guide! She guided us through the each location and explained a lot about the local customs and history at each site. Definitely recommend! Thanks Akari!

Fantastic local guide Tomo ensured we had a great visit experiencing 3 different sights across Kyoto navigating the public transport and hot weather. He was extremely knowledgeable and shared many facts and interesting local information. A gréât tour especially if you don’t have a long stay in Kyoto to see these attractions. This was a wonderful tour of some of the main sites of Kyoto. Thank you to our knowledgeable tour guide Kanji! Kanji was amazing at explaining the cultural significance of the major sites on our tour and gave us all sorts of insight into Japanese culture.

Vincent was amazing! He was knowledgeable and funny! We managed all the transfers very easily with his guidance. A lot of walking, but we were prepared. He took us to a private space where we could take pictures of bamboo forest without stress. Thank you!

Our guide Moeka was super friendly and knowledgeable. She answered all of our tour related and unrelated questions.
The sites we visited were beautiful and the transportation was pretty efficient considering that the locations are far from each other.
I would highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for a taste of the main attractions in Kyoto and you’re short on time. You get to see one of the main Shrines, a Buddhist Temple and nature in the bamboo forest, as well as a couple commercial areas where you can get a taste of the city’s culinary offerings.

Tomo knew his business. Not only did he know where to go first to have the best experience, he knew all the best photo spots. I was happy to see that he was training another guide, he seems to be the best one to do so.

First time in Kyoto, so thought this trip would get us started. Our guide Moeka, contacted us a few days before and answered any questions we had. We met at the meeting point as planned and the travelling, changing trains, bus, etc, was at a nice pace. Moeka was great, engaging with us and our kids was effortless for her, she has so much energy and knowledge. I could not complain or suggest any improvements for this tour or hosy. We all enjoyed it so much and would definitely recommend this tour and Moeka as our guide. Many thanks for some great memories...
