Ran by @guidemejapan on instagram. Kyoto is one of the most famous spots to visit in Japan. Therefore, during the day, it is hard to see everything peacefully. In this tour, we start early to beat the crowds! We visit Fushimi-Inari Shrine, Kinkakuji, and Arashiyama.

*The tour is APPROXIMATELY 5.5 hours, meaning it can differ by around 30 minutes before or after the estimated time.

Haruka is a phenomenal guide. She is personable, deeply knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and fun. She puts in the effort to get to know every member of her group, and her positive spirit is infectious. Beyond the tour, she is a true expert on Kyoto and cheerfully provides suggestions on places to eat, things to see, and various insider tips. Highly recommended!

I would highly recommend this tour. Took in lots of amazing sites and it was a great introduction to Kyoto. Our guide, Vincent was so helpful and full of great information. He was a delight to spend time with. I loved that we used public transport to get to different locations. Helped me to understand how the system worked in Kyoto. Thanks for a great tour.

My daughter & I took a small group tour with Haruka today to Fukushima Shrine, Golden Pavillion & Bamboo Forest. She was amazing! On point w/just enough interesting history & info & great answering random questions & flexible w/route to accommodate the final interests of the group as we departed. Lived it! Haruka was warm & engaging w/the whole group! Thank you so much

Our guide was Haru and she was FANTASTIC. Not only was she knowledgeable, friendly and approachable but also incredibly patient and helped us out of sticky situations.

Tomo was an outstanding guide who took us (3 couples) on a half day tour of Kyoto. We started early to avoid the crowds and used trains and buses to get around. Tomo gave us the history and facts of all the sites and took a bunch of photos. There is a lot of walking, around 12000 steps but plenty of time to rest up on the trains between sites. Highly recommend!

Perfect amount of time to see some must see sites in Kyoto. Haruka - our guide - was the best. Very informative and great English. Taught us how to navigate train system too. Such a better way to experience Kyoto. She even helped with restaurant recommendations. Highly recommend

If you take one guided tour during your visit to Japan, make it this one. First of all, the sights are amazing and well worth the time. But beyond that, our guide Hana was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful! She proactively contacted us in advance to help us prepare for the tour and even sent us a link afterwards with additional recommendations. She answered our endless questions about Japanese food, sights and culture and even assisted us with taking family pictures with such kind patience. Definitely go with Hana if you get the chance! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Haru was our guide for the tour and was very knowledgeable about all the places we visited. Her personality shon thru which made our trip with her even more enjoyable. Would reccommend Haru to be your guide for any trips around Koyoto

This was one of my favourite parts of my Kyoto trip. I was travelling alone so a little skeptical ant first but I actually made some really great friends on the tour (it’s a certain type of person that wakes up early to take a tour!). Our tour guide, Tommy, spoke brilliant English and knew the area really well - he kept a friendly atmosphere and gave us lots of great recommendations across Kyoto as well. I highly highly recommend taking an early morning tour over any tours that start at 8am. We were able to get in ahead of most tourist crowds and had a really lovely, relaxing experience of the wonderful attractions. When I asked the locals they also said they only go before 8am to these places. I also think the tour captures a good variety of attractions without being overwhelming. After the tour I felt satisfied that I’d seen the Kyoto highlights and felt I still had a full day ahead of me to hit other hotspots for food, drinks, and walking around on my own in the city. Worth the money 100% and worth the early morning too!

Great tour of some of the best spots in Kyoto. Our tour guide Tommy was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and sites we visited. This was a great experience to go around with a local person from the area. My wife and I had a great time.
