Seeing the sloths & other animals, very good experience included lunch which was very good, our tour guide was wonderful. All round a wonderful experience. Would do it again

We will do this tour again when we return to Costa Rica with our grand kids! Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the each stop of our tour.

Michael, our tour guide, was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about Costa Rica, its history, agriculture, and wildlife. Our family greatly enjoyed the day! (And the sloths, frogs, and monkey!)

Michael was AMAZING. He was prompt and attentive. He knew as much or more about the wildlife than the Bijagua tour guide, and was eager to share his love and knowledge of his country with us.
Our youngest daughter got sick (VERY sick) on the adventure and he stopped by a pharmacy and got medicine for us, which was above and beyond the call of duty. She got sick IN THE VAN (thank goodness it was just our family in the van), and he just jumped right in and helped. We kept apologizing and he just said, “I have kids too.”
Anyone who will step in so kindly with a sick child that way deserves kudos.
Michael, you are a ROCK STAR!

Michael was very knowledgeable and passionate about the rain forest and Costa Rican ecology. Great tour!!! Michael and the local guide (Angelica) helped us spot frogs, snakes, toucans, wild turkeys, sloths, and more. We loved the coffee and chocolate tour also. Llanes de Cortes waterfall was refreshing. The ride to start the tour and at the end of the day was about an hour, but comfortable. We highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful tour. I was a solo travel that tagged along with a family of 4. It was just the 5 of us plus our tour guide Michael which was perfect. I was picked up from my hotel in Liberia and we headed first to the waterfall. It was a lovely spot, refreshing water from the hot humid air. There was a place with changing rooms to change in and out of our swim gear, and then we were back on the bus. Scenery on the way is wonderful and Michael did a great job telling us some Costa Rica facts and pointing out areas to look. He pulled over to get us a fresh pineapple to taste and when he spotted some howler monkeys in the trees he pulled over again for us to see them and take photos. He was very good as a tour guide.
The next stop was the rainforest portion. Carlos joined to help us locate different creatures in their natural habitat. Some other reviews suggest this location “position” the creatures. I can assure you, from what I saw, these animals are very much undisturbed. The sloths we saw were pretty high up, but the guides had telescopes to help us see them. We saw several frogs, a tapir, ants, bees, sloths, toucans, wild turkeys and a praying mantis!
Lunch was great, it came with a fresh guava juice also.
Last stop was the coffee and chocolate plantation. It was fantastic and a great finish to the day. They showed us the whole process making their coffee and chocolate from start to finish and they did a great job including all of us on the tour taking part.
Overall this was a great success of a tour and I’m so glad I made time to do it on my short trip to Costa Rica.

i’m a teenager who is hard to impress and micheal was great. very kind and funny and was very knowledgeable about all the things. the sights were very amazing and it was definitely worth it!

This was such a wonderful tour. Our guide, Michael, took so much care and attention to make sure we had the best experience possible. He was very knowledgeable about the country and the areas we visited. We saw amazing sights and wildlife and had wonderful local food, coffee and chocolate!
If this is your first time in Costa Rica, this is a must do!
