Absolutely loved this class. Teresa was an joy from start to finish and got everyone involved in each process of the baking. The pastel de nata were delicious and yes I ate all three. Cannot wait to try this at home now for family and friends- a lovely touch being given the recipe and history. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to do something a bit different while in Porto.

Incredible!!! Theresa was an absolute gem, she handled the group with such grace and made sure we all had an enjoyable and hands-on experience! She was super knowledgeable and friendly and we all left the experience with lifted spirits and 3 custard tarts! Thank you Theresa for being such a bright and cheerful person and making our trip memorable!

It was fun. Small group setting. Everyone had their part of making the pastry and everyone's ended up tasting well.

Very nice class in the basement of a local art/ craft store (which has some very nice things you may want to buy separately). It has the feel of a local family business, which is part of the charm. Its not meant to be a more professional or upscale experience, so if that's what you are looking for, maybe not for you. But if looking for the feel of your aunt teaching you to make Nata's at home, this is it. My only complaint was that the instructions given in writing are very light on description and you need to take a lot of notes to fill in the tips and hints you get at the class - would have preferred if the instructions you take home had all of these tips and tricks included. But otherwise, great experience.

It’s a well done course and I learned how to make them at home. The two chefs were easily to listen to and gave individual attention as we made our Pastel(s).
Ask for the port variation: a true taste of Portugal !
