This was our favourite activity from our stay in Phuket! Jim was so entertaining and we learnt so much about the food we love. The menu and recipes were the best, and the ingredients so fresh. Every detail was thought of to make our experience a pleasure, especially eating our finished product. Thank you so much! I highly recommend Jim and Sally’s cooking school.

My daughter and I absolutely loved learning how to make some amazing dishes. Jim was awesome, quirky and funny. “It’s all about the prep and ‘SCOOP, SCOOP’. Thoroughly enjoyed. A must when visiting.

The Thai cooking class with Jim was incredibly enjoyable. My daughter and I had a fantastic time. We felt at ease and had the opportunity to learn about Thai culinary delights. Exploring the variety of fruits and vegetables grown in Thailand was fascinating. The assistants were outstanding, promptly assisting us whenever we needed guidance. The dishes we prepared were delicious, and we savored them while chatting with other families in the class. We highly recommend this experience and would eagerly attend again given the chance.

Awesome chef Jim was an absolute performer. He was funny and clearly passionate about his cooking school. We were picked up in air conditioned coaster, taken to markets for a look, taste and quiz of local vegetables and meat. (He did point out he doesn’t buy his meat from this market🤣)
Then a short drive to the school. We cooked Tom Yum soup, pad Thai, curry and sticky rice dishes. He was super accommodating to any food preferences and needs (I am vegetarian with garlic allergy😳). He was very gracious and I felt completely catered for. He was funny and we absolutely loved our session with him. Inside his school he has an elaborate Lego display (his other passion). We cooked and then sat down to enjoy our lovely food. Way too much to eat so we all got to take home boxes of our cooking. This was a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend.

Jim is such a great host - knowledgeable and fun. Kids had a blast cooking dishes and learning more about the Thai culture and cuisine. Market visit beforehand was a must and set up the whole experience. Highly recommend.

This was such a fun experience- Jim picked us up , took us to a local market and guided us through four dishes with clear steps and instructions and lots of humor. Making our own curry paste was a highlight. It’s a seamless experience and very well organized. What a fun and delicious afternoon! We left with detailed recipes and can’t wait to make them again at home.

We always enjoy cooking classes when we travel and this experience rates very highly. A really fun class with a great host (Jim) and we learned some great traditional dishes. Our kids are 13 and 10 and they loved it. My wife and I recommend highly

Fun class for all the family- learnt heaps- will definitely apply the learnings to my next Thai cooking meal. Finally know how to make a good pad Thai and balances the flavours of the curries etc. already practiced making the egg baskets 😊 Thinking Jim might give sally some space next to his Lego to set up a mini market to purchase some of the amazing utensils etc we used on the day ! Scoop scoop! 😜

You can’t find a better hosts in Phuket than Jim and Sally! The BEST cooking class in Phuket! Very organised and experienced. The class started with a visit to the local food market where we were introduced to all the fresh ingredients that we were going to use. Such a great activity to enjoy with your partner, friends and older kids! The hosts are incredibly professional yet funny and made the class really enjoyable ! The class and instructions given were very clear and easy to follow. They also shared many additional tips about how to best prepare the dishes. I went with my 11 year old son and we shared a station but he did most of the cooking and had the best FUN! It was definitely a highlight of our trip. We are already looking forward to return for another class the next time we are in Phuket! Thank you Thai Cooking School Phuket! 🙏
