If you are looking for a very friendly and authentic experience, you are in the right place.
I will host you in my home, and we will live together an experience so far from the mass tourism experiences. I accept only small groups, max 5 people, so, often happens that you and your group are the only participant of the day.
I am a cooking and art passionate since I was a child, and my bet is to offer an experience so memorable, that worth for you to a make a small trip out of the city center.
I make just few classes every week, because I want that every experience is a pleasure for me too.
At your arrive I will offer you an original Moka coffee, and then: let's start cooking!
We will share a bottle (or two) of Chianti wine during all the cooking process.
After the cooking we will eat all together the pasta that we made.
We will finish the lunch with a dessert made by me.
Than, if you want, we can write together all the recipes that we made.

Giacomo was such a lovely host! It felt like I was a guest in someone’s home. I highly recommend the experience! I came home with Giacomo’s nonna’s recipe and a bunch of lovely friends! The food was delicious, especially when paired with the wine!

Giacomo was great! He made learning the recipe very fun and the meal was easily one of the best I've had. Cooking in a Florentine kitchen is something I'll always remember.

This was such an amazing experience, by far the best cooking class I have been to. The intimate environment, hands-on learning of pasta techniques, and delicious outcome all combined made it the perfect experience! I would recommend this class to anyone visiting the Florence or Scandicci area!

I cannot recommend this experience more! Giacomo was an amazing host...so welcoming, warm, and engaging with all of my boys (21, 17, and 10)! We had some transportation mishaps causing us to be late, but he was so gracious and understanding, and made sure we still had the full experience....and that everyone had fun! He was patient and kind, making sure everyone understood the steps in the process and that everyone had a chance to participate equally in cooking our fabulous meal! It is not easy to find an activity that all of my family can love, but this was a favorite for all of us!

Enjoyed the hands on experience.It was so much fun putting our hands in the flour Giacomo was very informative warm and caring as he presented his kitchen talents with us. Booked this cooking class with a friend while we were in florence for a few days because it looked like an exciting authentic experience and we were blown away! Giacomo was so hospitable and kind, we loved getting to learn from him! the pasta itself was incredible, and so fun to make. we were also provided with coffee, cookies, wine, and dessert, all of which were delicious. if you’re looking for a calming, personal cooking experience, definitely book this one! you can’t get much better than a private class with authentic family recipes.
