Depart from Florence in a comfortable van with a very small group of up to 8 people and a tour leader for a memorable day. After 2 hours driving the first stop is Manarola, one of the jewels of the Cinque Terre, where you can admire the picturesque houses and take breathtaking photos.
Time to explore, before to move with the ferry line that connects the villages to visit Vernazza, walking through the charming streets of the city, and discover the history.
After this experience, just 15 min away by train, the next stop is Riomaggiore, where you can taste local delicacies, visit the defensive tower, discover the village life and have a swim.
Then, after 10 min of train and 1,5 h driving, the tour will take you to the famous Piazza dei Miracoli to see the majestic Tower of Pisa and the other monuments at this UNESCO site. After this exciting day, set off driving towards Florence. The itinerary is organized to be the easiest considering all the walking difficulties of the villages.

What a fantastic day we had going to Cinque Terre and Pisa! The weather was great and our guide Emilio was fantastic! It was nice being in a small group in a small van. Emilio was very knowledgeable and he made the day very enjoyable. The views were spectacular even with the walking up and down the narrow streets. Pisa was also very impressive! I highly recommend this tour to see Cinque Terre and I hope you are lucky enough to get Emilio!

Emilio eas our driver and guide. You could not meet a nicer human being anywhere on this planet. He's funny and his historical knowledge is massive. He gives an insight to the non-tourist life of the locals and made sure we experienced Cinque Terre before the hordes of tourists arrived to see the locals going about their daily lives. I would recommend d this tour to everyone, especially if you can get Emilio.

Emilio was a wonderful tour guide. His driving was very safe and comfortable. The vehicle was in very good shape and comfortable. The sites we visited were amazingly beautiful and I highly recommend visiting this region of Italy.

Great host! Great experience! Fun! Travel was comfortable and communication was very clear and responsive. I was a little scared about a 12 hour excursion but it ended up being a perfect day!

Emilio was flexible with the pick up, communicated well, and delivered a memorable trip to 3 islands and the Pisa tower - giving us ample time to explore and explaining the history in engaging ways. He was on time and brought a comfortable vehicle - overall a great experience and recommend to anyone in Florence.

Amazing views of the Italian northwestern coast lines and 5 villages of Cinque Terre. Very picturesque. We took a lot of pictures. Emilio is very personable and accommodating. He also does well managing time through the day. He is also knowledgeable of the area and the region and happy to answer all your questions.
Tip - Travel light. Check weather. Carry a headgear like a hat or a cap.

Emilio is well educated and has exceptional knowledge of the area and it's unique history. Stuff only learned through years of immersive living experience. He was very attentive to all the guests. After seeing how other tours were progressing through the small villages we were so glad we were with Emilio! Small group is without any doubt the way to go! Emilio runs the entire show for his tour company and is exceptionally good at it. My wife and I go on our fair share of tours when traveling and Emilio is one of the very best. Highly recommend!

Emilio was definitely a really good tour guide!
He picked us up explained everything thoroughly which we really enjoyed a lot.
He was a lot of fun the entire time he was with us and guided us well.
Would highly recommend him and would definitely use him again.

Admittedly, I was a bit concerned about taking a 12-hour tour. What if we weren't comfortable with the guide or others on the tour?? My concerns vanished within seconds of meeting Emilio! Emilio is friendly, personable, very knowledgeable about where he's taking you, and Italy, overall. He has the general itinerary for the day planned, but is very flexible with the schedule if his passengers would like to spend more time in one place and all are in agreement. There was enough time between stops that we were able to rest a bit before the next adventure. :) I absolutely recommend good walking shoes with great tread for those steep village roads and steps in Cinque Terre, and I was grateful for that information in the tour summary.
Our time in Italy was brief, unfortunately, or else I would have loved to enjoy more excursions with Lilium Travel Florence. When we find ourselves in Italy again, or when we hear of friends or family traveling to Italy, we will absolutely recommend this tour company and Emilio!
