Contrary to the name "Secret Falls" Uluwehi Falls has become the most popular waterfall destinations on Kauai. The paddle and hike will take some physical effort but we make everything else easy. We will provide the best hassle-free service on the river, No having to car top a bulky rental kayak and hunt for parking at the State Park. All you have to do is show up at our exclusive location and it's fun time! Our guides will setup all your equipment and will stay with you every step of the way. Adventure seekers should be comfortable in the water and should expect a 4-mile round trip paddle and a moderate 2-mile hike to the waterfall.

Fantastic, safe kayaking experience on the Wailua River in June. Reached the trail and embarked on about an hour hike to Secret Falls. Hike was amazing with beautiful scenery. Secret Falls itself was majestic. Make sure to wear a good pair of water shoes for the hike and a drybag if you pack a lunch. Kayman did a great job as our guide, willing answer questions, very attentive to safety, and very helpful to everyone in group. Awesome experience!

Excellent guides, equipment in great shape, and spectacular experience. So glad our family of 4 (15 & 17 yo active kids) did this. FYI, you can technically rent kayaks and do this adventure without a guide, but I appreciated having the safety & security of someone who knows the place deeply and could help us with water crossings on the hike, etc. Also, our guide took pictures of every person/group on our trip and then airdropped the photos to us at the end so we could focus on enjoying the moment without our phones. That alone is worth the price of hiring them! Please note this activity is moderately difficult, and moderate here means truly moderate (not easy, as many USA “moderate” hikes are). If you are out of shape, don’t have good balance, and can’t negotiate rocks/mud/low streams, this is not a good choice for you. People aged 8-50 who are used to being active outdoors did great.

Beautiful Kayaking with a friendly guide to a beautiful waterfall. Trail may be muddy so bring shoes that can get dirty and wet!

Loved being on the river! Beautiful day! The hike was a little slippery in spots but well worth it to see the sparkling waterfall!

This was a highlight of our 10 days on Kauai. One person in our group had never kayaked before, and it was her favorite activity of the entire trip. The five of us had a fabulous time and Khayman was an awesome guide. He claims to read encyclopedias in his spare time, so had an answer or a story for every question we asked.

Two people from our family stayed back that day; one due to not feeling well, and the other to not being sure if he could navigate the hike with compromised ankles. Both were good decisions. While I didn't feel the excursion was particularly strenuous, it was a bit treacherous. The hike was 1 1/2 miles each way over terrain that included muddy trails, protruding roots, and a couple of shallow river crossings with slippery rocks. About a third of the trail is equipped with raised boardwalk.

Swimming under the waterfall was definitely the highlight for me!

The whole trip was great especially the waterfall. We learned that the first scene in Indiana Jones was filmed at the location we kayaked … very cool. Our guide Sam was amazing!

What views! Hike was not difficult though some areas were tricky, crossing streams, climbing muddy paths etc. Good shoes that dry easily are a must. The guide provided walking sticks, great stories and really kept all those in the group together. The end result, the waterfall, was worth it!

Excellent tour with guide Kal who is a local. We were a group of 10. Kayak really easy and then about 45min walk through the forest to see the hidden waterfall. You can swim at the bottom of the waterfall. Total tour was about 4.5 hours. Guide was superb and told us a lot about the locals and the plants.
