Gordes and Rousillon are really interesting because they have each its own style, own atmosphere, different architecture. This will be your post card day in the iconic Provence!
The road to Luberon is beautiful, you will see nice Provencal landscapes and Luberon mountains. We will stop in a very nice factory boutique of lavender products.
Then, you will arrive to Gordes, very ancient village with old rock houses, amazing restaurants, beautiful boutiques with high quality local products. Gordes architecture is really protected and strolling there is just like the journey in the past. In Gordes you can find one of 27 "palaces" in France - Airelles hotel & restaurant.
Our next stop is Rousillon. This ochre village is really incredible and stands out due to its colours : yellow, orange and red. While strolling around the pretty squares, you will join the top of the village with its panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. You will have free time for lunch and visit the ochre trail.

Thank you for the warm welcome in your beautiful home! A very pleasant moment in this garden with a breathtaking view of the Sainte Victoire! We stayed there with my team for a working seminar. Access is easy by car from Aix en Provence, and the road to get there is sublime. Try to arrive by day to enjoy the valley with the sunny fields. The cuisine served is delicious and we took advantage of the stay to make an oenology excursion while delighting local specialties! On the last day we were in the Luberon, to visit the beautiful villages of Gordes and Roussillon. I recommend!!
