An experienced Local in a Kilt will guide you on a wonderful tour of Inverness and the surrounding area, Loch Ness, Highland Cows, Whisky, Gin, Battlefields, Ancient Cairns and if you are lucky a private bagpipe solo. You will enjoy learning about the local culture, History and folk lore from a real highlander. This tour suits all ages and can be tailored to suit each groups needs. The tour guide will liaise with each group to make sure they get the experience they desire. The attractions shown can be changed to include any specific requests. for example if you don't want a distillery we can change to visit a castle.

This was an absolutely fabulous tour. We would recomend this for anyone wanting get to know the land and have a good time doing so. Naill is the perfect tour guide. His easy demeanor and style of humor had the whole family laughing. He is great with kids and grandparents alike.
The tour took us to many great sites around Inverness and his passion about the country showed in how he talked about the land and its people.
His base and breadth of knowledge of the Scottish highlands was endless. Able to answer basic questions about topography and lore with ease. Additionally, he could explain complex family and clan relations to a layman.
His knowledge of the land also allowed us to visit some great places such as the smallest distillery in Scotland and a lunch spot worh fantadtic and reasonably priced food.
Naill's jovial attitude and passion for Scotland turned a darn good tour into a fantastic one. We were left with great memories, good stories, and crazy information we would never have learned anywhere else.
Thanks for a fantastic tour Naill. The bagpipes were a nice touch :)

We had the absolute pleasure of spending the day with Niall of Highlands Legends Private Tours and Transfers! Niall is highly educated, well spoken, warm and passionate. He is reliable and well organized with a clean new vehicle. Our specific tour was in Invergorden, Scotland, June 2024. Our cruise ship did not offer any full day tours, which is what we wanted. We were lucky to find Niall for our private shore excursion tour. We visited the battlefield and memorial at Culloden, the Clava Cairns and Cawdor Castle. It was the best tour of our trip! He was full of great surprises and we left feeling like we had gained a friend. Highly recommend his tour!!

We had an amazing time on our Scottish highlands tour. Niall is great and has a wealth of knowledge about the area. He really tailored the tour to what we wanted. This tour was a highlight of our trip! I would definitely recommend booking him anytime you are in Invergordon!

Our trip to Scotland was amazing but what put it over the top was Niall's tour. It was as if your favorite uncle drove you around town, cracking jokes, laying down history and making sure everyone was comfortable/safe. I laughed and had so much fun on his tour with my friends, we were sad to part ways. The memories of will last a lifetime and I recommend to anyone that is looking for an adventure to sign up with Niall right away!!!!

This was a perfect day and one that I will remember for a long time.
Our guide made us feel like family. He was so interesting to talk to, he made us laugh, and taught us a lot about the local culture.
The tour was so good that I would love to do it again.
