We had a great time. The stroll through the market gave you a great sense of the daily culinary life in the city. The class was a couple techniques for making some dishes like rolling dolmathes and making circular spanakopita. Other than that there was a lot of history about the dishes and the philosophy and influences of Greek cuisine and a good amount dicing and chopping. It's a very social affair and you'll interact a lot with others in the class. At the end you share the results of your work in a big family style meal. Overall it was a ton of fun and I highly recommend it.

We enjoyed the ease of making the dishes. Our chef/guide was energetic and lovely. She mad it so much fun to cook. My husband and daughters don’t usually cook, but they enjoyed preparing the dishes. In the end, everything was delicious!

Our cooking instructor, Visia was so much fun ! We learned great cooking tips and enjoyed our fellow classmates! Touring the Market was a neat experience too!

Our guide was great, taking us to the local market, explaining the history behind the food. The food itself was home style and very delicious. We would do it again!

Amazing meal with great company. Thanos was fantastic with incorporating history of the dishes, family history, and regional knowledge into everything. Would do this again every time i’m in Athens

Well worth it! The food we cooked was great and the instructors makes it fun and show you how to do everything. We had a small group which made it even better. At the end they set everything out and you eat dinner as a group!

This tour was incredibly enjoyable! The food, wine, and company were all fantastic, not to mention the expert guidance from our amazing cook through the recipes. If you're looking for something to do in Athens, this experience is a must-try!
