The Do Eat Better Experience food tour is a walking tour around the historical center of Florence. The tourist is guided by a "Foodie", a local "buddy" able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities.
Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Italian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible.
Please, note that the tour is always run in English and Italian; other languages upon request.

Tour guide was super boring. Did not talk about Florence history or much of anything else. I’ve been to many food tour and the guide usually gives history of city as we are walking. She was pretty much silent the entire walk. So disappointed.

Mara is fabulous! My mom and I had the best experience- one of the highlights of our trip! We have 5 food stops - so much great food but Mara made it special!

This was a disappointing tour. I was led to believe from the website that we could expect to receive historical information about the area and food and there was no commentary other than what we were eating. The food was average at best and considering the price not worth the money. I would not recommend this tour.

Just returned after a two week Italian experience with 5 other friends (which included Rome, Milan, Venice, Florence) and one of the highlights was the awesome walking tour we did with our guide Sacha. Not only did we get to have an awesome foodie/wine experience with a fun, friendly, knowledgeable guide who not only loved Firenze, but passionately shared her warmth, and stories! It was lovely to see how she was welcomed by each of the places we visited (not like a commercial transaction, but almost like one of the family), very different vibe. Especially when compared with some of the other walking tours we’ve done across Italy, I’d highly recommend Sacha (and would have loved to get her to show us around some of the other areas) 🥰Thanks Sacha 🙏

I booked the food tour for our group of 6 travelling 'foodie' friends and we had a fantastic time with Sacha. We'd already spent 4 nights in Florence, yet Sacha still managed to introduce us to new culinary delights and educate us with interesting foodie facts and knowledge from Florence and the surrounding regions.
Sacha brought fun and personality to our walking tour and made it a fun and highly memorable experience.
