Lara was super knowledgeable and a great tour guide! Would recommend this tour to everyone! The Jewish Ghetto is so small, but the history is incredible. This is a Venice must see.

Guide was difficult to understand at times and didn't answer questions asked to her.
Also took us to planes with minimal discussion as to why
Tour had a great deal of potential and could have been better.
The synagogue visits given by a different guide through the visitor center however were excellent!

The synagogue tour was great! Dario was a great guide who brings knowledge & humor to the tour. The tour of the ghetto was fine. Hilaria was very nice

The guide was on time, very knowledgeable, she explained the complex and interesting history of the Jewish people, and the positive and lasting impact they have had on Venitian liife very well.

This was a wonderful tour! The guide was extremely knowledgeable and did an excellent job explaining the history of the area. We had a small group of only 5 so there were plenty of opportunities for discussion. I highly recommend this tour to everyone interested in learning more about Jewish history in Venice.

Our guide was not at the fountain for meeting. My wife and I ran around the square asking if they were our guide while our guide watched us with out saying a thing. The tour guide talked for 3 hours and you stood the entire time. The tour could have been done in one hour. Then the guide from the synagogue who was someone else basically did the same tour in one hour with much better knowledge and information. I would still recommend the tour through the synagogue which would cost 20%.

Clare, our guide, gave a delightful and detailed presentation on the history of the ghetto, where the word originated. It was an interesting and informative experience. The area it covers is very small and some of the features are explained and pointed out.. we took in only a portion of the synagogues tour (there are at least four of them) where much of Clare’s information was repeated.

Our guide Hilary was exceptional. She spent the entire two hour tour giving us clear explanations of historical, architectural and cultural aspects of the Ghetto and its residents over the centuries. Our guide in the synagogue was equally impressive and of course the two Sephardic synagogues visited were beautiful.
