We loved our tour guide! He is very charismatic and knowledgeable. He is very good at entertaining kids and keeping everyone safe. Regarding the walking tour, the landscapes are very pretty and unique. The walk in general was very relaxing. I highly recommend this tour. Markos I was a great tour guy

Our guide Joel was the heart and soul of our tour experience. He made personal connections to all 8 guests. His love of Maui specifically and Hawaiian culture generally informed our whole hike. Yes the views and waterfalls were stunning and well worth the hike, but a guide like Joel is priceless. We will remember his kindness and how he shared his aloha with us every time we think of this hike experience.

Hike Maui was one of my all time favorite adventures . We had a group of 9 friends (ages 31-71). Our tour guide, Mikayla was fantastic. Mikayla was informative, energetic, knowledgeable, helpful and fun. She always put safety first and then helped us navigate the terrain. The hike took us through trees, up rocks, across streams and into waterfalls. It was such a wonderful part of our week long Maui vacation. I highly recommend this hike.

Amazing tour! Highly recommend! Our tour guide Mike was just amazing! You could see how much he loves what he does! We had a great tour in amazing rainforest, got to try different tropical fruits, drink water from the tree, jump and swim in waterfalls while Mike made sure everyone is very comfortable and safe! He even jumped with us to waterfalls, making sure we know what to do and feel safe by him being there! He had hiking sticks,backpacks for us with lunch, drinks, snacks, bug repellent etc. Just anything we might need.
You would really need swim shoes or hiking shoes for this activity. You will not regret booking this tour!

Brian was our tour guide and he was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable about the history of the area, the wildlife, and the vegetation that he made the hike well worth the cost of the experience. My husband, who is in his 60’s, was able to jump into a waterfall, which was a thrill for him. We would definitely recommend Hike Maui to all of our friends.

Des was a great guide and it was a wonderful time!! Some parts were more difficult but overall a moderate hike. Kids loved the cliff jumping!

We booked this at the last minute at the recommendation of the concierge at the Ritz Carlton who told us it was her favorite tour on the island, and, after going, it is our favorite too! We would do it again in a heartbeat if we could! (We are a family of four - kids aged 14 and 10.) It was a magical day - hiking through the rainforest, wading through the cool waters, swimming in the spectacular waterfalls, and jumping off the ledges into the pools. (For the record, only my husband and teen daughter decided to jump. You can still have an amazing time if that's not your thing.)
Our guide Randalyn was wonderful - so knowledgeable, fun, and kind. She took extraordinary care to make sure everyone was safe and comfortable and having a great time. (Call and request for her to be your guide if you can!) The tour takes you to private trails and waterfalls that are not available to the public, which was a huge perk because this area (Twin Falls) is very popular with tourists and gets very crowded. Being away from the crowds, you can really immerse yourself in the beautiful nature around you and relax. Plus, being with your guide, you don't have to worry about where to go or what to do next, not to mention parking!
Some logistics: They provide you with a backpack, lunch (sandwich, fruit, chips, cookie), bug spray (very useful!), ponchos (we didn't end up needing them), and towels.
You will want to bring your own sunscreen and wear a bathing suit under your clothes. Also, wear water shoes if at all possible. Even if you don't plan to swim (which you definitely should - it's amazing!), your shoes will be immersed in water walking through the streams on the trail.
I can't say enough wonderful things about this tour - one of my favorites I have ever done. We hope to go back one day and do it again! Thank you, again, Randalyn!

An absolutely unique experience! A great hike and beautiful waterfalls. We stopped for a while at each one and were able to go swimming. Our tour guide Nick was absolutely great, in a great mood and told our group a lot about Maui and the surrounding islands on the way. He showed us flowers and fruit-bearing trees and bushes. I was absolutely blown away by the beautiful nature. I would recommend it to anyone who really wants to see some of the natural charm of Maui - away from all the tourism of the resorts and hotels and who likes to go hiking and enjoy nature.
