Hear the stories of immigrants who passed through Ellis Island and learn about the creation and symbolism of the Statue of Liberty.
On this guided tour, your expert New Yorker will get your reserve-line ferry tickets for you and ride with you to Liberty Island and afterward to Ellis Island for a tour of the landmarks around the island, such as the wall of honor. Afterward, you can continue inside the Ellis Island National Museum of Immigration to explore its multiple floors at your own pace. An audio guide is included to help. You’ll also have time to visit the Statue of Liberty Museum as your guide prepares you for what you’ll see inside.
Looking for more tips about what to do with the rest of your time in NYC or want a photo to commemorate the moment? Ask your guide. They’re happy to help.

Easy and nice. The (express) tour was informative but nothing you couldn’t find online. You get on the ferry with the general population and then left on livery island to do what you like. It doesn’t include access to the pedestal or the crown. If you want to see those, you’ll have to reserve way in advance and don’t bother with a tour and just go. Roy was great (out tour guide) funny and a local guy from Brooklyn.

Liam is such a cool laid back tour guide. He also made jokes which helped. 10/10 would recommend. He also offered to take pictures of my husband and I so we didn’t have to ask a random Person. That helped.

This guided tour is really giving you value for money! And the tour guide Ken was knowledgeable, polite, pleasant and very considerate to include the whole group. We really enjoyed this trip - remember to see the movies showed both at Liberty Island and Ellis Island Museum!

We really enjoyed the tour. James J did the best job out of all the tour guides. He was informative, funny, and took all the short cuts to help the group through the 'painful' security. I'd recommend this tour and also highly recommend trying to get James J as a tour guide. Awesome Job!!

We really enjoyed our tour and our super competent, native New Yorker tour guide, Jason T. He was funny, very New Yorky, and had a personal connection to Ellis Island, which made the tour even more interesting. We learned a ton about New York history as well. Jason also helped us navigate the long line and boat ride like a pro. Thanks man!
