• This tour is unescorted.
• St. George’s Chapel closes at 4pm and is closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day.
• As Windsor Castle is a working royal palace, sometimes the entire Castle or the State Apartments within the Castle need to be closed at short notice.
• During the winter months an additional five rooms, known collectively as the Semi-State Rooms, are included in the visitor route.
• The Semi-State Rooms at Windsor Castle are currently closed and will open later in 2024.
• St. George’s Chapel is closed to visitors on Sundays as services are held throughout the day. Worshippers are welcome to attend the services. It also closes at 4pm during the week, so please ensure that this is one of the first places you visit upon arrival.
• Windsor castle is closed on every Tuesday & Wednesday and on 17th June 2024, and 24-26 December 2024.
• Friday, 14 June 2024 & Thursday, 27 June 2024 - St George's Chapel closing at 13:00.
• State Apartments closed on 16th June 2024.
• Due to driver's legal working hours restrictions, this tour will finish within a 2 or 3 minute walk of Gloucester Road Underground Station. This station is in Zone 1 and is three stops Eastbound on the Circle Line or the District Line to Victoria. The Piccadilly Line also runs through Gloucester Road, and is only 5 stops to Piccadilly Circus.

Our guide Ivan has excellent knowledge in explaining the different places and the driver Soha was very prompt parking the bus on time. I like the Windsor Castle itinerary.

Great trip to Windsor Castle, can recommend! Got to go into St George's Chapel and the State Apartments at Windsor, a unique experience! The bus driver Armando was very pleasant and entertaining on the bus, and guided us with a steady hand on the bus trip to and from Windsor.

The castle is huge. The inner rooms are luxurious. St. George's Chapel is beautiful. It's a self guided tour. You get earphones and recording as you enter. The driver, Armando, was great explaining the logistics and providing some history on the way.

Very disappointed we were not advised at the time of the reservation that the church did not allow visitors on Sundays and also, this is a self guided tour. I could have done it on my own for a much lesser price.
