With 51 years of working in the dive industry, I’ve led a lot of dive trips and have used a lot of dive operators. In May I chose Wet Set in Puerto Morelos for a family scuba trip, based on their reputation. I wasn’t disappointed. Our group varied greatly in its dive experience and physical abilities. The Wet Set staff accommodated the needs of everyone. They were extremely competent in leading the dives and in keeping the group together. They enjoyed finding and showing the myriad life on the exceptionally healthy reef. The Wet Set culture is to meet the needs of each diver making it, by far, one of the best dive operations I have used.

Absolutely amazing dive shop!
I did a refresher dive on shore and then a two tank reef dive the next day.
Both experiences were absolutely amazing. I got my Adv Open Water back in 2012, and have only dived a handful of times since then the last being almost five years ago.
Felicity and her team explained to me what my best options were for getting back in the water and I am so glad I followed their recommendations.
Juan the instructor made me and the others in my group feel safe, comfortable and totally taken care of both before and during the dive.
For me this was the first time I really got some key concepts relating to buoyancy and breath and actually wish I had done all my training there because the quality of teaching and skill is just so much higher than other places I have been.
Not only that but the quantity and variety of marine life in this location is unbelievable! So so beautiful.
Absolutely loved my dives with these guys and wish it had been thirty. The whole team is super friendly and make you feel welcome from the beginning. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience. I can’t wait to come back.

Just finished 4 days of diving with this outfit. Highly professional and friendly service. The staff is wonderful and incredibly helpful. Towels are provided between dives. Water and snacks on the boat. My husband and I have been diving globally for over 30 years and we highly recommend this dive shop.

I completed my PADI Open Water Certification with Wet Set in Jan. 2024 and also did a classic snorkel tour. Last year, I did two classic snorkel trips and a discover dive. I've been impressed with Wet Set's high level of professionalism, organization, and responsiveness which I am sure in no small way is facilitated by the great office manager Felicity running the show.
Thanks goes out to my scuba instructor Juan for for his patience and for giving me plenty of fun diving exploration time in addition to skills instruction and practice. I felt that having the confined dives just off the shore rather than a pool was advantageous because I got more experience practicing in real (but shallow) conditions. Puerto Morelos is also an amazing place to do the open water dives because the water is warm and calm, and the reefs are absolutely beautiful with tons of marine animals; I saw a bunch of turtles, stingrays, a scorpion fish, a puffer fish, a huge barracuda, and tons of other colorful tropical fish.
The classic snorkel trip is also top notch. The marine life and coral is abundant and the water is some of the clearest and reefs nearest to the surface that I've experienced. The guides are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. I would spend all day out there if I could!

We absolutely love WetSet in Puerto Morelos. I was scuba certified there in August 2023. We had such a great experience, so we went back for Christmas 2023 and did 5 dives with the company. They have amazing diving instructors, teachers, & guides. They are professional & caring. The office is run by the awesome Felicity. She is excellent at communicating and answering any/all questions.
I want to give a special shout-out to Laura. She was our diving guide for 2 Cozumel dives and a bull shark dive. Laura made our entire day of diving incredible. She is patient, kind, skilled, incredibly helpful and just a genuinely wonderful person/diver/teacher.
It was a day we will never forget.

I obtained my scuba certificate last year with Wet Set. I returned this year with one of my children, who did the discover scuba class in the morning and then we did a dive together that afternoon. Saw 3 sting rays and 3 sea turtles and hundreds (thousands?) of beautiful fish. Booking with Felicity by email was very easy as we were able to come up with a plan for day the day that was great for both me and my son. Our guide Lara was perfect. A professional, friendly teacher who also instilled a great sense of trust.
The diving in PM is great - a short 10 minute boat ride and you are in the water. Will definitely go back and will always book a dive with Wet Set.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience, diving with Wet Set! Dan was our scuba guide and he was great! He was very attentive and serious about the safety precautions and instructions, went over exactly what we would experience and made sure we were all on the same page before we started the dive. His laid back, relaxed attitude enabled us to have relaxing dives once we were in the water. Saw all sorts of marine life and it was definitely the highlight of our trip to the area! Highly recommend Dan and Wet Set! Hope he is available when we return for future dives!

My parter had a great time completing her open water diver, i joined for a couple of dives and headed to some deeper spots with owner Dave on a perfect, quiet Saturday morning. highly recommended.
