Enjoy our family-friendly experience around the grape farms of Lake Country. As the name suggests, there are a number of lakes in the vicinity of Lake Country, and outside the municipal boundaries in the hills to the east. Okanagan Lake defines the western boundary of the municipality, while the entirety of Wood Lake and the southernmost portion of Kalamalka Lake are encompassed by it.
Not sure about Riesling? There are a multitude of choices that are wayyyyy different than what you may have tried at Grandma's house years ago. Sugar content is down. Flavours are abundant. If you like spicy or asian cuisine, you'll want to have a bottle on hand.

Pickup was on-time (early actually - but no pressure from them). Patricia was a fantastic guide and we had a wonderful time. There were 4 of us in our group and we were all virgins to wine touring. Patricia was both a lot of fun as well as extremely knowledgable. We learned a lot and were not expecting to.

The driver was very friendly and helpful. He attended to our needs but also kept us on track between wineries.
The experience in booking was not as friendly but turned out ok. We only did 3 wineries at our request and had airport pick up. Had to wait about 10-15 minutes for pick up they did not monitor the airline schedule. The snack provided was excellent. 3.75/5
All in all a good experience

We were booked as a group of three in a private wine tour. Angelo was our guide and an amazing host. He was personable, gracious, and funny. We toured:
1) Arrowleaf
2) O'Rourke
3) Ex Nihilo
Our favourite was Arrowleaf - amazing setting, knowledgeable sommelier-in training, and excellent cream puffs. This is where we had our picnic that Angelo prepared.
The second and third wineries were just okay, so we would pick other wineries were we to do it again, and maybe end with Arrowleaf.

Being the first time ever on a wine tour in the Okanagan Valley, what I enjoyed the most was to learn not only which wineries were the most visited, but which other places and areas are there to explore. All this was told by our tour guide Don, which was very enthusiastic and professional.
