I’ve done other food tours but this was my family’s first. They wouldn’t stop talking about it when we finished! The food was delicious and we learned some amazing info. Anna was incredible and so knowledgeable!!

Dimitra was an excellent tour guide. She gave us information about all the local cuisine and shared with us her love of food. We tried so many different types of Greek food. We were told we were going to have a feast but oh boy it is hard to imagine how much food we will be offered. I was full the rest of the day! My 2 children (9 & 13) also had a great time trying new things.

Our tour guide was a young woman who we called Silvia (she said her Greek name means silver but to call her Silvia as was easier). She took us around town and thank goodness we didn’t eat anything before hand as we were so full once we finished.
We tasted all the traditional Greek foods: various filo pies, taverna foods, Greek coffee, desserts (loukamedes); strolled through the meat and fish markets as well as fruits and nut market (tasting along the way as well); we also tasted fancy olive oils, vinegars and wines at a venue called “the artist” and ended our tour with a gyro which we were so full that we just took it as a takeaway and had it later in the evening.
We were very happy with the experience - it was truly about tasting all the must try foods of Greece. We liked some of the places so much that we ended up going back to most of the places that Silvia introduced us to during our stay!

This was the best food tour ever (and we've done a bunch of them). Maria was extremely friendly and helped ensure 5 of the people on the tour made it back to their cruise boat on time (without jeopardizing the experience). There was tons of good food including two puff pastry type items (savory and sweet), a kind of brushetta, gyros, and a whole bunch of tapas plates (the most food I've ever gotten on a tour in one spot). We also enjoyed authentic Greek coffee (made just like Turkish coffee) and wine. We were also taken into the meat and fish market which was really neat (a little gross too). Maria also pointed out a bunch of cool spots we could check out after the tour, which was really nice.
The only complaint is that this tour could be condensed by 30 minutes - there was a bit of wasted time at points.

Our private food tour was awesome. It covered everything and more! I appreciate our guide and her ability to change the tour a bit to accommodate my elderly parents. We had a blast!

I have to say, this was over the top of what I expected! I expected 1-2 hrs of walking and food. Nope - 4 and it was AHHHHH-mazing!!!! And what really sealed the deal - our guide Tonia - she brought out so many details of the foods and the history and traditions of Greece. I could not believe we had been walking and eating for just about 4 hrs when it all ended. We all had such a wonderful time, and I made new friends from around the world!!

Annabella could not be a better tour guide. She is so knowledgeable and friendly and just brings you into the world of Athens food in such a great way. The food could not be better: a perfect 10/10. We had Greek coffee, loukoumades, pies, souvlaki and mezze that went on and on and on. Wine and ouzo too! Given the moveable feast here, it’s a good value. I recommend the morning tour. It’ll basically be your breakfast and lunch and though day drinking isn’t for everyone, you are done by 13:00 and will avoid the hottest part of the day. Yamas!
