Meet at Termini Station and board a state-of-the-art high-speed train for the 1.5 hour scenic ride to Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance and artistic geniuses such as Michelangelo, Dante Alighieri, Leonardo da Vinci, Niccolo Machiavelli, and Galileo Galilei.
2. Florence
As you step off the train your local guide will greet you and lead you into Europe's most charming city. On a 2.5 hour walking tour, your guide will unveil the great beauty of Florence and its immensely rich history, architectural wonders and vibrant culture. Your local guide will show you famous landmarks like the Florence Duomo, Brunlleschi's unrivaled Dome, and the Baptistery of St. John, adorned with its famous "Gates of Paradise". Next you'll take in Piazza della Signoria, the political heart of Florence where an exact replica of Michelangelo's world-renowned statue of David stands. Visit the vines and see how age-old winemaking traditions have been maintained through the years and incorporated into the modern production of today’s highly prized wines. Learn a bit of wine lingo such as what the initials DOCG mean and what classifies a wine as "Super-Tuscan" while hearing the winemaker's heartwarming story during a guided tasting of six wines including the famous Vernaccia di San Gimignano and of course a Chianti. 5. San Gimignano

Fantastic informative tour! Great walking highlights of Florence even in torrential down pouring rain.
Antonio was fantastic just a plethora of information. Appreciated the earpiece to hear Antonio. The extended excursion of wine tasting in Tuscany and free time in San Gimignano was wonderful.

Amazing and relaxing tour. Walking Florence was so fun, and the wine tour was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our guide, Antonio, was incredibly informed about the history of Florence and was so fun to chat with during the wine-tasting. He is an amazing guide!

An amazing day trip. Great transfer via the fast train, and Antonio, the guide who met us for the day once we got to Florence, was a really great guy. Very knowledgeable, lovely chap, and he really made the day.

The van transfer to the vineyard was seamless, and once we got to the vineyard.....wow !! What a place !! Nice and small and they don't take too large a group.

Andrea and his team were amazing, with the wine tasting, food and general information shared, top-drawer.

Then to top it off, we got to see San Gimignano ! What a beautiful place. We would never have got to see this gem if it had not been for making the booking.

We are so glad we booked this trip. Brilliant value for money

Great walking tour of Florence and fugnano winery. Jessica was great. Host at winery was entertaining. The food and wine at the winery was delicious. Beautiful scenic views of Tuscany countryside. Private driver was wonderful. We left a phone in the car and the driver turned around to bring back to us.
