Visit Teotihuacán, the "City of the Gods".
We will depart from Mexico City to enjoy Teotihuacán when the sun begins to hide, without a doubt the show will be unique when you see the tonalities of the sky as the sunset begins.
We will have a guided tour of the place as well as free time to explore it on your own.
This experience in Teotihuacán will be even richer thanks to the stories, anecdotes, and information about the latest discoveries that we will be able to share with you throughout the tour.
After a brief introduction about Teotihuacán, begin the ascent to the Pyramid of the Sun, and then continue with the Pyramid of the Moon, while the guide describes the Mesoamerican architecture, design and worldview.
After enjoying this archaeological zone, we will go to eat at a restaurant where you can taste the typical Mexican cuisine.
After this, we will visit an Obsidian workshop, where we will see the technique and the different products, before heading back to Mexico City

Our tour guide Leticia from Amigo tours was wonderful. I’d recommend her specifically to friends wanting to do the tour.

We booked the 12:45 pm pickup but the tour operators had to cancel it & booked us into the “sunrise” option & we couldn’t be more grateful because Mexico City is in a seasonal heat wave & the afternoon tour would have been brutal. We also lucked out getting an amazing tour guide, Alexa and the driver Carlos. Both were fantastic!
Alexa in particular was detail-oriented in giving us historical data; she carried a folder with reconstructed images, and a whiteboard to draw & explain pyramid constructions. Because we left early enough in the morning, the weather allowed us to walk the Avenue of the Dead & to climb the Pyramid of Quetzalcoatl (the only climbable pyramid). The tequila tasting and the gift shop were quite good to buy some souvenirs.
Only the lunch was so-so—but we were spoiled by the great food in Mexico City that this tourist-oriented restaurant felt like a letdown.
But otherwise, this was an exceptional experience and I recommend it highly if you are looking for a guided visit to the Teotihuacan pyramid complex. You will luck out if you get Alexa as a guide!

NO SHOW! I booked via Trip Advisor and receive ticket and confirmation. I arrived at the pick up location 15 min before pick up as instructed. I waited 40 min. No show. I called the number on the ticket and it did not work. I emailed the operator via trip advisor. No response. I called trip advisor customer service and after holding was connected to tour operator. It was very difficult to communicate ( lang barrier) she seemed to convey that they did not have tours scheduled for the day I booked. I asked for a refund. She did not comprehend. I put my danish speaking travel partner and he could not get any useful information. I requested a refund via tour site. No reply.

We originally booked our tour for Thursday afternoon but they switched it to a morning tour, which was such a better option due to heat! Antonio was our tour guide and he was delightful :) The food was good with entertainment.

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and a joy to ride with, great experience! She arrived on time, and was very easy to coordinate with. She also shared a lot of the city's history with us along the way outside of the actual tour.

Awful. We booked this tour back in January for a visit in April. They cancelled the day before the tour was supposed to take place, so we had no time to plan out an alternate visit to Teotihuacan since our schedule was already packed. This was one of the reasons we were traveling to Mexico City, so we were very disappointed in the unprofessional way the company canceled our tour at the last minute, when they had months and months to inform us that it wouldn't be happening. Truly awful.

Unfortunately, because roads closed for demonstrations, the guide Alexa had us take subway to meet bus. Very strenuous on hot day. Lost about 45 minutes because of this, and this shortened the visit to pyramids, but not to store and restaurant. Too bad. Alexa tried hard to give much information, switching constantly between Spanish and English, but she spoke much too fast, making it hard to understand her. The visit to store, ,where we were offered samples of several typical (?). drinks (not really tasting well) and pressured to buy overpriced items, was a waste of time. The bus was comfortable, and driver Fernando (?) was good. The amazing views of pyramids and other temples compensated for the problems.
