definitely an amazing site. We got a lower price by meet the tour at the site entrance, but the uber from the city was expensive, so we may have been better off paying for the tour bus. Nonetheless, we were able to skip the artisans and restaurant stops which are part of the bus tour. Our guide Antonio was excellent, but if your hearing isn't great stand close to him. The radio earphones work well, but you get a "double image" sound between the natural voice and the headphone. Since my hearing isn't great, I found it best to not use the radio and stand close to the guide. Would have liked more time in the museum, but otherwise the tour and site was amazing. Our adult kids loved it too. Be prepared for heat.

We took a private half day tour to the pyramids outside of CDMX. We had Gerardo as our tour guide who was incredibly knowledgeable — and charming, to boot. We loved the tour and had a blast with he and Paco, our driver. They kept us informed and laughing the entire time!

If ever you visit Teotihuacan take Daniel as your guide. He usually waits patiently at the entrance (entrance no 1). You can spot him when you look for a nice, elegant Mexican gentleman wearing a black tailored jacket. He not only stands out by his knowledge and kindness, but also by his elegant attire.
Daniel is a truly brilliant guide. Knowledgeable, eloquent and absolutely fluent in English. He will make your visit to Teotihuacan a memorable event. He is very good in teaching you about the history of the place, but also in telling you stories about the mundane life of the then inhabitants. He let us chose between the long tour or a short one and completely catered to our needs. When I was done after the short tour, he went on doing the long one with my husband. I highly recommend him!

We really enjoyed the tour! Our guide Gerson was welcoming, funny, and informative, and the trip was very well organized. Transportation was comfortable and convenient and we had plenty of time to take in the sights.

We booked a turn around tour to Teotihuacan. We go to the sight and come back. Instead, we were lumped together with a group that stayed an extra two hours at a store selling local crafts. We booked the other tour specifically to avoid this market. We were not told this until we were already on the bus and on our way. We were stuck there until the bus left. I will never use Viator again. You shouldn’t either.

Teotihuacan is an amazing place, well worth visiting. The trip organisation by Amigo Tours was really great, ran very smoothly. The tour leader - Lili - and the driver - Ricardo - did a good job, but we took the option where we just looked round by ourselves, so I can't comment on the guiding at the site itself.
Like someone else, I would have preferred to skip the tequila / gift shop experience, which was a bit naff. But would recommend this tour outfit nonetheless!

Great! Glad I did it. Felt we were in good hands with Sergio and Alejandro. I would have preferred to skip the morning raunchy tequila tasting/gift shop, but I actually learned a lot during the agave demonstration. Gracias!
