We had an amazing experience with Grape Tours for our Chianti Wine Tasting experience! My husband and I are both moderately knowledgeable about wine and found the experience to be very educational and enjoyable. It’s so nice to have everything taken care of, especially the transportation directly from Florence. Gabrielle was an incredible guide and very knowledgeable. We would do this again!

This was one of the better tours we did while visiting Italy! Our tour guide was Ben, he was very knowledgeable regarding the Chianti region and made sure we had a solid background of the history behind Chianti prior to our arrival at the first winery!
All together, we tasted about 13-15 wines (recommend dumping some after tasting to avoid becoming totally hammered by the end!) and had a delicious lunch at the second winery. They were accommodating of food allergies as long as you let them know ahead of time, which was very appreciated. At one of the wineries, the owner came out and opened a special bottle of wine for us to taste. He told us some of his family history and his passion for creating wine.
If you enjoyed the wines you could purchase them and arrange for shipment back to your home country.
Overall we had a great time and would absolutely recommend this tour.

This is an amazing tour. Matteo and Gianmarco were so helpful and friendly. All 3 stops on the tour were well organized and very informational. The wine and cheese was phenomenal. I highly recommend this day trip from Florence.

This was my 4th outing with Grape Tours, and yesterday with Clemente was outstanding. Along with the fun, we learned a lot and had a sumptuous lunch at Dario’s. The wines we tasted were very good and Clemente’s guidance improved our understanding of wine and how enjoy it thoughtfully. We’ll be back again!

Our guide, Clemente was fabulous! He took us into the Tuscan wine country Carmingano and gave an absolutely poetic explanation of the history of the land, the winemaking process, and the people involved. His expression from the heart about the passion for the making, and tasting of wine was wonderful. All of the whites we had. The pleasure to taste were wonderful. On the return to Vienna, he was kind enough to bring us to some sites mainly locals now. Could not have been a better day!

This was an excellent tour in the beautiful Tuscany Countryside. We visited vineyards and wineries and were able to ask our expert tour guide any questions we had. Lunch was very unique and enjoyable and the group size was small. We loved it!

We took a tour yesterday with 8 people and it was awesome! We had the 10:15 slot on June 22nd. I can't quite remember our tour guide's name but he was awesome! He was so knowledgeable and kind. The two wineries we visited were filled with great wine! The lunch at the second winery was delicious. It came with appetizers, a main pasta dish, and dessert, all paired with wine. My partner and I walked away absolutely feeling like we got our money's worth and would definitely recommend this type of small group tour for anyone visiting Florence! Thank you for a great experience!

Absolutely first class experience. We were on a trip with Australians and Americans and all got on so well! Our guide and driver Phelan was outstanding! Two vineyards, far more wine than I anticipated and if such great quality too. At the second vineyard we were fed - three courses and all delightful. Friendly and welcoming hosts with countryside to due for - truly great value for money

I did a lot of research before booking this tour. My homework paid off. Clemente was our tour guide. He made the tour very special with his expertise and personal experiences in the world of wine making. If we are lucky enough to return to Florence we would definitely book the other Grape tour offerings.
