I had booked for the Silom tour but after booking was asked to change to the Sukhumvit venue. I had chosen the Silom tour because I was actually staying in Silom and was doing the tour solo. Fortunately getting to Sukhumvit was relatively easy from where I was staying or I would not have been impressed about the change and would have been asking for a full refund. We started at a small market (and I mean small!) adjacent to the station, visiting one fresh food stall and one shop. I've done cooking tours in other cities and been taken to markets where you got the true market feel of hundreds of produce stalls so this was a bit of a let down. The actual cooking experience was good and the surroundings were clean, aesthetically pleasing and well set up. We cooked and ate a number of interesting and tasty dishes and gained a greater insight into the specific ingredients used in Thai cooking. Food was beautifully presented. We had been whisked away from the meeting point by tuk tuk to the cooking school which was some distance away. At the end of the experience we were told it was over and find your own way to wherever you are going. I wasn't the only one who was stunned about the lack of interest in ensuring people could either get back to the station where we had met or to their next stop. On other tours the guide has at least found out where people wanted to go and assisted them with directions or finding the best transport option. That was a disappointing end to the experience.

This class was lovely. We had 6 people cooking. The instructor was very clear and patient. We each made our individual meals from chopping to cooking over the burner. We had 4 courses. All were very tasty. The instructor answered a lot of questions. I was particularly impressed as we had vegans in our group and the instructor was able to make quick substitutes for their needs. Highly recommend.

My 16 year old son insisted on having a Thai cooking class. Together we had a great and entertaining evening. We learned some interesting recipes. Thai salad we absolutely will try making at home.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time learning about the artistry and techniques required for classic Thai dishes like Tom Yum soup, Pad Thai, Penag curry, and mango sticky rice. Our instructor April was very friendly and patient with us. She taught us about each ingredient and provided suggested substitutions for certain ingredients. All in all, we had a great time and left with our tummies full.

The class was so great! Really informative and the food was amazing. I don’t eat seafood and the team customised the menu to suit me. April and her staff were all attentive and very efficient, would highly recommend this to anyone new to Thai food!

April was great! Explained the ingredients and steps very thoroughly. Whole run down of the course was great. We get to ride tuk tuk from the market to the place we have lesson.
