Beware! Static Cameras not working in the underground river section.

The two of us purchased a $55 photo pass for the Park. We were especially hoping to capture some unique memories in the underground river as we didn't want to use our phones' cameras in the water. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed to discover that none of the cameras functioned in the underground river section. In some areas, the camera mounts were even empty!

While we appreciate the static cameras at other locations provided some nice photos, the lack of pictures from one of the main attractions (the underground river) made us feel like we didn't get our money's worth. We brought this to the attention of the staff, and while they apologised and offered a full refund, they informed us we couldn't keep the photos taken in other locations in the park.

This experience left us feeling a bit ripped off as what we really wanted from the photo pass, wasn't available.

This will be my third time vising the parks at Xcaret and for the second time l have had a bad experience with the stupid staff and also this last time with one of the transportation from the park to my hotel it seems the transportation and parks are not equipped for handicap people. this parks make oso much money and they can't afford that. The drivers last name was Zapata l guess if you don't like your work quit find another job

The place is amazing and worth a visit. However, a rude staff member damaged my experience when that lady in a red t-shirt shouted at me and reacted aggressively while I was crossing the street to my bus late at night without any known reason. It was completely empty at that point of time and the buses were waiting for the customers to ride. Even if I was wrong by any chance, there could have been a more professional way to talk. Some staff training is definitely needed.

Travel included with a great guide, made the 1 hour journey feel like 10 minutes with plenty of information. Was sold this trip as the ‘disneyland of mexico’, that it was not. Really would not recommend this at all. Once we got there we stormed through the check in area and beat the crowds heading straight to the cave swim area. Luckily we got through here the first time without seeing another person, it was very peaceful and the only part of the day that I can genuinely say I loved. We came out at the other end of the park and walked around for a bit, but not much to do. We were told there was so much to do that we wouldn’t even need to pay for any extras, but it seemed that was the only thing to do. Unfortunately couldn’t see the jaguars but the enclosure was beautiful, same for the aviary. Enjoyed the aviary but began to be too crowded. We then navigated around the rest of the park through to the aquarium area which was okay, but wasn’t much to see. By this point the only part that remained was the snorkelling area. We got in the water and it was absolutely rammed with people, you could barely move and there was around 2 species of fish but barely any fish around at all because of all the people. We luckily beat the hour long queue for the buffet, which is good if you like mexican food. I enjoyed it myself but my partner didn’t enjoy as there were no vegetarian options. We went back into the cave swim area for another trip round to try and kill some time, but at this point it was so crowded you would just get kicked constantly and could barely move, so we got out about 200m down the line. After all of this it was only 1pm with nothing else to do and the evening show didn’t start until 7pm. There was the option to get the first coach back at 4pm, so we decided to browse the shops (which were actually very good) and then leave as soon as we could. Paid $160 each for these tickets and quite honestly the biggest waste of money I’ve ever spent. Would not at all recommend, far too busy and not much to do for the price you pay. And i’ve just paid $60 less to swim with whale sharks for a whole day…

The grounds were beautiful!! Surrounded by beautiful jungle. It is a looonngggg day (if staying for the show) but worth it! I would only recommend to those who can walk and handle 20,000 steps. To take a stroller would be annoying and slower IMO. It sucked that there were no private showers. Towels are for rent only. So bring your own if you want. Lockers required a deposit just FYI. Buffets were so delicious. Wish there were more free water activities. Just the river, a small beach and snorkel inlet. The children area was closed so the kids were bummed. But they loved the snorkel and rope line.

My son and I visited Xcaret, where I suffered a major medical incident at the park. The care and attention I received was second to one. Every member of staff was superb, they undoubtedly they saved my life as it was a serious incident.

The following week we returned to Xcaret as the park had invited us back (for free) once I was back to full health and we had a fantastic day. I would like to thank all the staff at Xcaret for their fantastic response in dealing with my incident, particularly the supervisor Daimon for the hospitality.

Xcaret was an amazing experience. There was something going on every hour in every area. The food and drink was delicious. There is so much to explore and see it is an all day trip.

Such a brilliant day the only thing I would say is that there needs to be more clarity in terms of who can and can’t access some of the activities

Best park I've ever visited. We went in a family of 10 from older adults to a 5-year-old, we all enjoyed it a lot. Incredible as thought every detail, from the lockers, the bathrooms, the trash cans, although it rained us to seas we still thanked because walking 20 km in the sun I don't know if it would have been the best. I must admit that I did not have much faith in the show of the night but I was surprised by the set-up and the overall show. Even my youngest son who gave his all throughout the day fell asleep and the staff in charge gave us preferential chairs so as not to have to climb to the highest point of the theater that was already full.
Points to improve within such wonder, lifeguards could have an upgrade for people who can not swim or a board to facilitate swimming in the rivers.
The price of photos with dolphins is too high, or it could be included in the overall price.
Everything else is wonderful, if you want to see everything go very early with comfortable clothes.
