The Koala sanctuary was absolutely wonderful! We went for the koalas but were also thrilled to hang out with many kangaroos and to see a Tasmanian devil and wombats. The « koala hold » experience felt quite rushed and expensive for what it was, but we made our peace with it considering that funds went to support the sanctuary’s work. The boat ride up to Lone Pine was a good experience and well organized by the vendor. It was a tad long, though, so if we did it again, I think we’d opt to return to Brisbane by car.

Had a perfect day at the Lone Pine Sanctuary. We had enough time to see all of the park, and meet all of the animals. Loved the place. Back at the boat it was nice to relax with coffee and a bit of food at reasonable prices.

This was a wonderful tour! The relaxing cruise down the river to the sanctuary was truly a highlight. But the best part was being able to interact with all of the animals! We are so glad we took this tour and consider it one of the many must-do activities in Brisbane.

Great trip. Very punctual. Left on time, 3 friendly boat crew, full commentary along the river however hard to hear when you're downstairs. Cruise to koala sanctuary takes an hour and 15 minutes each way and it can get pretty cold on the boat so be prepared,a few blankets are available aswell. Cafe and bar aboard the vessel and toilets as well. Koala Sanctuary was great and there was plenty of time to look around before the trip back. All in all a great day trip that I would definitely recommend 👍

Enjoyable river trip with commentary on the sights and history of Brisbane. Be aware it goes in the opposite direction to sites like Kangaroo Point Cliffs and Story Bridge as the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is in this direction. The sanctuary itself was lovely with a fantastic raptor show being the highlight. Recommend buying lunch at the cafe just outside the sanctuary (rather than inside the sanctuary itself) for some great views of the river

The staff on the river cruise and Lone Pine were professional and friendly. We had an amazing time! We reserved a koala petting experience, Merlin was the softest little guy and munched his leaves while being petted. We feed the kangaroos, which was absolutely the best! We petted an emu as well. Such incredible creatures and experiences! The sanctuary has many animals and exhibits, the only thing lacking, in my opinion, is more, more time to see it all.

A must for anyone visiting Brisbane! Beautiful scenery the entire way to/from the Koala Sanctuary. So many Koalas and numerous opportunities to interact with various native animals too! Everyone on the boat and in the sanctuary was friendly and informative. We all loved this adventure!

Was a pleasant and easy trip. I very much enjoyed the river cruise. The top deck was too cold due to the wind (went in June) , seat at the rear or right at the front where one can enjoy the sun. The sanctuary is not large but was sufficiently big for the time given. Certainly more than enough koalas such that there wasn't a need to crowd around to get a view. Do have lunch at the santurary before leaving as the boat reaches back after lunchtime.
