We did the Coba Express half day tour. Ana was our tour guide. She’s sooooo amazing and made this experience worth it! Her passion and knowledge of Coba, Mayan culture, and the ecosystem keeps you engaged the whole time. She was bubbly and fun to be around. Our driver Jose kept us safe and drove very efficiently. The tour itself is great. You get to learn about everything and get
Some free time to explore and talk to the locals. Even though this half day tour didn’t include lunch, our guide and driver kept us well hydrated and had plenty of snacks. It was a great experience that I recommend everyone go to.
For some reason the trip itself is not on trip advisor but you can book on their website or amstar like we did.
Thank you Ana and Jose!!!

Amazing half day tour to Coba. Eduardo was our guide and was brilliant - knowledgable, entertaining and mindful of tailoring the trip to the group. A fascinating site covering quite a large area so be prepared to walk!

Tips: Don’t be the last couple that makes everyone wait for you.
- wear comfortable shoes and clothing. There is a lot of walking and it can get hot even though there are many trees.
- take a bicycle chariot on the way back and don’t forget to tip the worker.

Very good tour guide and transport. Thank you
These excursions are so worth the time and money.
Bring good shoes, if you have disabilities with walking it is difficult. The bikes helped a lot.

Freddy and Eric were the best guides and driver. We learned so much both on the drive and throughout our visit. Met amazing people who went on the adventure with us from all over the world. Highly recommend.

Freddie and Eric, our guide and driver were fantastic. Freddie did the tour of Coba and was very knowledgable and made the experience fun and interesting. No problems with pick up and drop off and comfortable enough in the van. We didn’t try the food (which was a packed lunch) but might have been more inclined to do so if somewhere to sit and eat rather than the van or standing outside it in the sun, hence the 4 stars. Overall, great experience and would recommend.

It was so quiet and beautiful! There was a bit of uneven terrain, but most of the 1 mile walk to the main temple was a flat and even caliche path. There were plenty of tour groups present, but almost no overlap when we were up close with the temples, courts, and other structures. Moises, our tour guide, was excellent, knowledgeable about Mayan history, language, culture, religion - but also about the plants and animals that we encountered on our walk. And no vendors onsite!
