What is the DMZ – an exciting experience like no other
While the Cold War happened a long time ago, Korea is the only country that still remains divided as a consequence. The DMZ lies on the border between the North and the South. This is the most heavily fortified border in the whole world, so don’t miss the chance to see it!
OPTIONAL : Gondonla
Gondola tour is one of our most popular DMZ tours and can also be an excellent alternative to our DMZ Tour when political or military events restrict access to some of the stops on those tours.
OPTIONAL : Red Suspension Bridge
The Gamaksan Red Suspension Bridge is the longest suspension bridge in Korea at 220m long and 1.5m wide. It can hold up to 900 adults and is constructed to withstand 30 meters per second winds and earthquakes of up to 7 magnitude. Its stunning scenic views make it the perfect spot to capture beautiful photos, and it is always well-received.

Gogo, our tour guide, was super nice and knowledgable, I learned many new things about sad Korean history and separation of one nation.
I wish Suspention bridge was a possibility for this tour.

We had a great day out with Jenny who was very knowledgeable and gave her personal insights into the impact of the Korean War on her family.

We had a terrific time in this DMZ tour with our guide, Henry / 김 응배. He’s a friendly guy with good stories, and we learned a lot about the history of the Korean War. REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR PASSPORTS. We forgot ours at the beginning and it was a giant inconvenience for Henry, who handled it gracefully, but I still feel bad.
Anyway, all in all, a great day. Saw North Korea, made some friends, ate at every opportunity (because why not), bought some 6 year ginseng, and enjoyed seeing the DMZ and learning about its sad history and tense present.

Excellent half day tour. Well organized and on-time. Plenty of time to see everything. The best part about the tour was our tour guide Sunny Yang. She was very knowledgeable and funny. I learned a lot!

A tour that really made the history of the war and its aftermath come alive
We also had an excellent guide, Lina, who put an enormous amount of effort and energy into keeping us organised and informed
To glimpse North Korea in the distance was extraordinary

Our guide Crystal spoke good English and did a great job. I would recommend to anyone. My trip was supposed to include hotel pick-up, but they asked me to come to one of the three locations. My hotel (JW Marriott) was not listed. It should have been clarified at the time of reservation.
