Immerse yourself in the Middle Ages, visiting one of the most beautiful medieval villages of Italy. You will never forget the ancient towers and the dreamlike landscape by which it is surrounded. The tour will begin from the main gate, Porta San Giovanni, continue towards Piazza della Cisterna, where you can taste the famous ice cream that won many prizes. In the next square admire the Public Palace and the wonderful Cathedral. If you choose to visit the palace, you will explore the Civic Museum and the highest tower of the town, from where you can take wonderful pictures or if you prefer to enter inside the Cathedral you will see the well-preserved frescoes. At the end of the tour enjoy the panorama from the fortress, where today is situated the Vernaccia Museum, the DOCG white wine produced in this area.

Barbara was amazing! She was fun, organized, and we learned so much about the history of San Gimignano. The 2 hours flew by, best guided tour we have had in our travels. Could not recommend this tour with her higher, it was exactly what we hoped it would be and more!

San Gimignano is definitely worth the trip - a lovely hill city with interesting history. We arrived in a downpour but were not deterred. Our guide, Richard, was very informative and flexible. It is definitely worth having a guide to tour you around and give you the history.
